Let’s talk about our last show…we bid farewell to
Quagmire
– definitely
not
a fan favorite:
Chip-on-his-shoulder Guy
. What he didn’t possess in talent, he certainly made up for in attitude. I’m sure he’ll be missed…by
Someone
. Yep, you heard me. Quagmire’s only fan (
Someone
AT&T Wireless Customer
) was caught flooding the phone lines by text-messaging thousands of votes per second with an ingenious device the mechanics of which
I
sure don't understand – a clear violation of the fair play spirit for which AI is renowned. No wonder COHS Guy made it this far in the competition. Someone’s been grounded from cell phone privileges AND television – and he deserved nothing less.

Good morning everybody – we’re getting down to the part of the show where things get mighty interesting…only five left now and three’s the magic number of votes.

 Holy crackers, that was a fast night!

So, what exactly was Someone? It doesn't really say on the front. Was he a bad guy? SK type?

In any case, I'm not going to jump on anyone like yesterday. I can't seem to find anything wrong with Toodle. I'm not sure what it was that jeep saw about her that would make him say she was scum. And, believe me, I've been reading her posts trying to find it, but I can't.

I don't think Someone was a SK, becasue I thought he was killed by the serial killer, and the mafia went for Quagmire.
I'm trying to figure out why they went for him. Maybe because although he said he had suspiscions, he didn't actually name someone else.
After reading over the thread, I just don't find Yoko's claim plausible enough. I don't wanna kill him yet, because I have a couple other gut scum feelings in me.
This means he may or may not have been a direct threat to the maffia, but they had the advantage of killing him without immediately casting suspicion on themselves.
Personally I am surprised, because I thought they could have fingered Quag for not having posted as much.

I guess I see what you mean nigel.

Question: I've never really watched the show, so I don't know this. (I, personaly, don't like reality tv) When people vote, do they vote for who they want to go on, or do they vote for who they want off?

You vote for who you want to stay on the show, therefore it's a popluarity contest. Sometimes contestants who should get the boot have so many friends, family, fans, etc. vote for them they stay instead of better people (Camille Velasco, thank you very much!).

I'm wondering... who's the cop? Would this be a prudent time to show yourself so another of us innocent townies doesn't bite the dust?

Well, this is a fairly difficult situation we have right now. Five people still around, likely two of which are bad. And to top it all off, nobody here is even close to being confirmed. Any one (or two) of us could be scum.

The only one that still hasn't posted anything today, is Phoebus. And mneme's posted, but she didn't say much (just a "Yeah, I'm here." post)

I'm a little worried right now, because I get the feeling that this day will probably just end up with a mass claim.

Only joking but now I have your attention, can you clarify this question from
Mr_Gnome_It_All
for us, please:
So, what exactly was Someone? It doesn't really say on the front.
I reackon we have one maffia, one serial killer, one cop and one other pro-townie role among us. Without a doctor is it still too early in the game for a mass claim? Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing what
Toodle
's claim is.

just_nigel: I would like to know what you base your suspicion of me on? I feel that I more than adequately explained why I made the choices I did. You haven't done that yet... so please enlighten all of us. :?

I'd like to know why you pleaded with all of us not to lynch Yoko and he turned out to be mafia. Also, you put the fourth vote on Jeep... that's a nice, cushy place for mafia to vote because the final vote isn't yours and you think it makes you look less guilty.

I think your actions are rather scummy, if I'm being honest.

I posted to say I'm not the cop, didn't vote (which, with 5 players, 1-2 of which are scum, seems prudent); what more needs be said until everyone has spoken?

I'm almost inclned to vote for phoebus, who hasn't posted, except:

My reading is that if we had a cop, he's it. So if he is, I'd kinda like some results, please; they can't -all- have been people who are dead now. (can they?)

Without a cop...well, Phoebus is feeling -least- suspicious to me (except for the whole lurking thing, that is); after that, well...

In the meanwhile, I'll vote to end our misery by lynching the moderator -- remember, if we unanymously vote the mod, the game will end and all players will win! (a little known fact).

Um. Phoebus is not lurking. He's just not at his regular PC.
I posted that a few days ago and it shall remain status quo till atleast Sunday.

I have no leads. I am not the cop. Other than gut feeling I have no clue. Yoko's deperation to get JEEP lynched was something surreal and with him turning out to be mafia, it should be interesting to check up on voting patterns.

Judging by the nature of "deaths", I would suspect that Simon is probably Godfather who cancels people from the show. And as for the criminal past catching up to the others, I suspect at this time that all or most of us have something or the other which won't agree with our present or the future. No clue who might be sussing that out though.

I'm off to try and glean something from a re-read of yesterday. For now, my gut manifests itself in a
fos:gnome
. Why? You ask...gut...that's all.
Will try and explain it better once done reading but it's probably nothing more than meta.

I agree that without a cop-claim to guide us, gnome, and nigel feel the most suspicious to me based on previous voting and arguing patterns.

Will need to think before voting, however.

How does my "voting and arguing pattern" seem suspicious?

Day one I random voted Toodle, unvoted, and voted for Yoko, who I unvoted after he claimed cop (which he did after I asked him for a better reason why he was voting for jeep) and had Yoko not claimed cop, jeep might not have known as easily that Yoko was mafia.

Day two I voted for Yoko right off the bat, and never removed my vote.

So I was against the lynching of the innocent jeep, and all for the lynching of the scummy Yoko. How is that suspicious?

Gnome: Some of your argument at eod day one and begining of day two seemed suspicious-making to me. But yoi're right -- nigel has been -much- more suspicious, in his "don't kill Yoko just because he caused an innocent person to die" mode.

Well, that's two out of three on nigel. While, I agree that his argument
was
questionable, I'm not the kind of person who would lynch someone without giving him a chance to defend himself.

Well, I was away and now I'm back.
After re reading, I shall upgrade my fos to a
vote:mr gnome it all

I concur with mneme on voting and arguing pattern. Yoko committed hara kiri to get JEEP lynched so he couldn't have the town canter to victory as he has elsewhere.
I had Gnome marked for scum earlier in my notes. The immediate vote on day 2 for Yoko, I call disassociation and moreoever the spat later where Yoko called Gnome scum going for an easy exit, I call it staged.

For now, I'd attribute nigel's lobbying to inexperience but going by vibes, he's most likely the unknown entity who's responsible for the second "death" every night but I won't lynch him without more for him and I'd be infinitely more happy lynching Gnome at this moment. Nigel we could save for later.

I'd be infinitely more happy lynching Gnome at this moment.
You would be more happy lynching a townie, wouldn't you?

I'm just Shannon Rubicam, basic townie. Former member of the 80's group "Boy Meets Girl". Nobody remembers me so I'm just here to get some publicity for my upcoming album.

I don't want to go the way of
Quagmire
and enough people have asked for my role claim now, so here it is:
I am the cop

I could tell you straight up who I have investigated each night, but you might like to reread my entires and hopefully it will be self evident.
PS - I
unvote: MeMe
and
vote:Toodle << enough said!

Woops that should have been
Vote:Toodle

And since I am double posting, I can further explain a technicality: Meme didn't actually use the word 'cop' in my role. Meme used the word 'judge' - I still get to investigate one person each night to find out if they are scummy or town.

So free cookie to the first person that can tell me who I investigated each night and what the result was :D.

Since I know that I'm a townie, I have to say I don't believe your claim, just_nigel.

I'm Nikki McKibben, wildcard contestant and like I've said, time and again... all I ever done is sing my heart out to become your next American Idol.

I stand firm with my vote.
