Between Comm and Uzi, Comm looks worse in his push. Uzi's vote remains on him out of laziness at this point from what I've read, but I would be suspicious if he didn't remove it if James' wagon actually got traction.

Comm: while I already stated how dumb I think it is for a cop to claim in his very first post, it's also scummy for you to want to push a cop claim without even considering anything/anyone else. Even if he is scum, which I find unlikely due to how big of a gamble it would be to fake claim on his very first post (without any reason for it that I can think of if scum), there are more scum than just him. Without a CC, he isn't lynchable. That's common sense. To push for his lynch because 'he's practically a VT' is scummy reasoning. The only legitimate reason I can think of for scum to fake claim there is to become unlynchible D1, but it still doesn't make any sense in the long term. It isn't a good move whatsoever for scum to make (not that it's a good move for town either), so I can't see any reason to disbelieve it currently. A CC or another cop flip would easily out him as scum, so with 18 players in the game (glad you counted, cuz I didn't), a fake claim there makes less sense than him just being a VI used to a different meta. Do you have any other reasons for your SR on James? Is there any reason that you've ignored the rest of the players thus far (who have posted at least) and want a quicklynch already?

Comm's reasoning makes sense from a newbie town perspective though, from first glance the timing and claim itself is weird enough to hop on, especially if you lack experience with the site

First of all, still don't have the time to write a detailed post (and I'm pretty slow at getting into mafia games, 6 pages for me still look like not enough information even though there's plenty). Real life is a pain in the back entrance.

Second of all,

. Claiming on D1 looks so fake no sane scumplayer would do it, as to not look scummy.

Third of all, sorry for the misunderstanding about James's ToS experience. Thought he was talking about ToS game, not ToS Forum Mafia. (Also, not playing ToS since the last time I opened Steam, which is like 6 months ago - I checked after posting and yes, D1 lasts 15 seconds).

@James3: Some non-meta reason for claiming D1 (especially since your result comes in N2, with an higher risk of being lynched before it comes in if people don't believe you, or being nightkilled by a timeshifted killing role N1 or a normal killing role N2)? Basically, explain your strategy like I'm 5.
@CommKnight: I can understand the reasoning behind you believing his claim is fake, but why do you think he'd have claimed D1? Basically, couldn't it be a town falseclaim (if it's good or bad play, it's not what we're discussing here)? Is there any reason that makes you think that he is specifically scum?

Anyways. James's claim made me chuckle but I did some research and it is indeed a very common tactic on ToS. It is also funny that all of them claim town usually. With this being Forum Mafia and not ToS we only have one claim. So all in all, there is a 50% chance he is lying. Another thing that Comm said is that this is a timeshift mafia. It is quite convenient that he claimed a cop. Considering that night actions come one day late, it could be a great tool for scum.

All in all tho, he is not the lynch for today, even I belive that.
