so our lynch for today should be falco - his iso basically reads like how i would expect newbie scum to play like

he never really commits to any stances and i haven't really liked any of his contributions. entrance was gutscummy too

i think the worst of it though was 121, the jump onto the light push was just really bad and the reasoning behind it is really shallow

i recognize that people are going to have different opinions about each slot but light is really obvious town, and twisting what i felt was a pretty newbtown thing to say into something scummy when it wasn't even there doesn't really have any town motivation

readlist in general is:

{Accountant, Light} - Town
{Loopdan, TesXX} - Light town
{AceQueen, Woodboys} - POE town (i thought their posts were OK but the above 4 reads are stronger)
{Falco, Aj} - Scummy

if any of these reads need more explanation i'd be more than happy to give it at this point, normally i don't like to show my full hand in a newbie game and so early but the pushes this game have been really weak and accountant really is the only person who has done anything i've actually liked.

I'm actually pretty sure the team is just Falco and Aj since Falco's questioning of Aj was extremely awkward but pre-flips aren't exactly my style page 6 into a newbie i just skimmed. aj's posting still stinks so far though

i was intending on doing a more in-depth catchup but i suck at those

Why is wanting to take your time D1 more likely town? I don't think there's any use of stalling D1 if no one is going to use it effectively.

I agree with the negative vibe from that sentiment, but can you go a bit more into your own thoughts about it? Don't worry if it seems too esoteric/word-salady when you type it out, it's still useful information.

Also, do you have any actual SRs? We're halfway through the day, we need a decent wagon or two going.

Ok so for Falco and that specific statement, it can go both ways. The main reason why I feel like it has a negative vibe is that I feel like it was a premature response. While that response can be justified for saying it in future days, it's not that relevant to d1 imo..

Also, I just feel like wanting to make most of day is town because of info you can get. Though because of the SOS, it could be scum to at least get a better idea of what the set up/how to play.

Very good entrance by GT. I can see legit thinking behind your reads. My only question is why the strong TR on Accountant?

with everything said on giga's part, it seems the game is gonna be more active now, everyone say their reads so i can compile them, i already have giga's, my slight sr is TesXX now, slight Tr on giga atm providing some stuff, everyone else in between those 2 for me

Yeah, I agree that the comment makes more sense to make later in the game - in the early parts of the day not giving reads can be beneficial because you hide from scum what you townread and scumread. now i can kind of get it because the game moved very slowly until i came in and providing any thoughts helps progress the game

HOWEVER

i feel like falco in general seems very dismissive towards most scumhunting in general which is why it goves me bad vibes — do you agree with me here or should i point it out?

Wrt deadline usage, more time is generally better for that reason, but there's a point where you have to plug your nose and get shit done. basically it's a balance of speeding up the day and using all the time that works. plus using all your time and not developing reads leads to deadline wagons that almost always hit town. i personally feel like falco wanting to use more time is nai (not indicative of alignment)

If you don't have any strong scumreads, do you have any people who you don't really understand the thought process of? That could be a starting point for finding a scumread if you have trouble.
