/shrug, i don't think it's exactly surprising to anyone to say "hey i'm pretending that my reads on page 4 are stronger than they really are so i can get reactions and maybe actually move the damn game forward". different words, imo same meaning.

as to where to start to take it at face value, that's a question i don't know an answer to. i play on gut. i sometimes call my reads ~bullshiting~ because they are difficult to explain and their explanations do often feel dumb, even to me.

anything past the obvious rvs meme vote has ~some sorta ping~ behind it that i presented in one way or another.

I think your explanation is reasonable and I agreed with your pressure on Baltar, it just came out a bit undercooked as I feel you're trying to force yourself to stay engaged
