You're right, I don't consider Taly flipping scum a real possibility which is why I didn't run the simulation in my head and

This too, but my thought was more broad than slot. I figured almost anyone could be the 8ball, so I hopped on somebody already being voted in RVS to see how much fire the wagon got.

But there was some nuance, though. Since this plist is full of veteran players, is the most recent joindate with the least experience I've had with. So I wanted to vote someone I thought reasonably be 8ball.

IE, I probably wasn't going to bite an RVS wagon on , , or because I see them as pretty strong players and unlikely to be eliminated D1.

i kind of feel similar to imaginality. might need to indulge me for a sec because this is from the deepest depths of my warped mind.

it's kind of like, ancient wisdom that "elim-bait can also roll scum", right. but it's also a very easily position to fall back to that limbait are not worth pushing because it's too easy, and them doing weakly scum indicative things isn't actually scum indicative.

here taly is positing that he himself has high 8-ball equity, but that doesn't necessarily make him town. i think that's something town do slightly more than random, BUT is also something taly would say as scum. but i think the fact that he's done it in a way that feels genuinely curious about wisdom's motivation without taking the time out to dwell on what it actually means for himself is probably slightly indicative of a pure mindset.
