Ahhh...A fresh new morning and moving on with fresh perspective.

Ok...I'm gonna sound myself out here to try to cut this down (for those of you who rehashed this...I don't care...This is actually more for me than you...Call it personal notes):

Operating in this post under ASSumption that players with claimed roles are telling the truth...which seems to be with general consensus based on what I am seeing out of others so far:

_________________

Group A - Those who voted to lynch mist (claimed role after name, if applicable):

hiraki
SensFan - Lisa Simpson
jasonT1981 - Dr. Hibbert
The Fonz
sottyrulez
DarlaBlueEyes - Groundskeeper Willie
LlamaFluff
KageLord
DemonHybrid
Nero Cain
Mariyta
boberz
ribwich

___________________

Group B - Those who didn't vote for mist

Benmage
Consigliere
diddin
Lowell
Nachomamma8
Sleepless Assassin
Steven Hacking
Tragedy
Wraith

If indeed there are 2 dirty in group A...That would lead to the conclusion that there are 4-5 dirty in group B. Since I'm in Group B...That would leave a 4-5 out of 8 probability of hitting dirty from my position.

If the town is going to go the group B route, we should choose a target and push them to claim.

My current nominee of group B?

Nacho guy...I saw him all over this forum last night when sens and I were doing the tango and not even a peep out of him.

Even the scarcest of posters I can get a "Damnit Consigliere what the hell is wrong with you" when I go on a posting tirade...and from him...nothing.

And I just look him up mid-posting this and he's all over the site sans this game....I think want to push him to lynch so he can claim just to get him to post something, honestly. Because I'm crazy like that.

Wraith comes off as most town to me, so other than (obviously) myself on that list, that's probably the least likely place I would go.

The rest are a hodgepodge of "I'm not sure" at the moment.

Lovely passive-aggressive comeback there at the bottom. Reminds me of Zoraster whinging about being deadline-lynched when he had his finals coming up. Now THAT was AtE. You're constantly behind, yet you devote your energies to Mastining rather than saying, say 'OK as of five pages ago my top suspects are X and Y for the following reasons. Guys come join me.'

Preview ed: @Mariyta- it's odd, but I think rampant paranoia tends to be a towntell.

Fonz, don't you even say that Benmage is pulling AtE when you say that mist wasn't. You are not in the position to make a false statement like that.

Yeah yeah yeah...I'm nuts/ridiculous/annoying/ignorable...Take a number.

I wonder which characters would comprise the mafia...

Fat Tony is obvious.
Sideshow as well.
Nelson "Ha Ha" Muntz.
Krusty most likely.
Mr. Burns? Possibly.
Dr. Nick? Meh...Probably not...but would be funny...

Crap, I need to fix my list from before. I forgot Cons had replaced tvella (I'm surprised no one caught that). I like Cons much better than tvella. So move Cons to the list of people I won't vote from the off group. In a cursory glance, I'd pick Nacho over Ben for lynch, simply because Ben seems more active and his last couple posts haven't made me ill.

Make no mistake, I am willing to move my vote off the wagon if most feel that way (I like a poll because a large majority PROVES that it isn't just mafia running the show and a lot of town voice is in there)...but I will be absolutely shocked if hikari flips town...SHOCKED....so no matter who we lynch that guy is always, sans the exception of a solid uncountered claim, get the Meet the Parent's Deniro finger eyes from me.

Because he's not depending on it; it's an off statement he made that wasn't needed; just a "this is why I've had shaky attendance". I'm not commenting on DBE's PMS comment.

Mist was pleading for her life AND was L-2/L-1. Instead of focusing on her claim, she pleaded for her life. THAT is AtE.

It's an appeal to pity. He's trying to imply that it's somehow underhanded to be attacking him, or that we should have sympathy for him, because of outside of game factors. I don't agree that it was just an offhand statement rather than an attempt to excuse his behaviour.

For kicks and giggles, I went ahead and looked up post count of those "off the wagon"

Benmage - 47
Consigliere - 30, tvellalot - 13 Total: 43
diddin - 38
Lowell - 8, Fuzzy Beavers 22 - Total: 30
Nachomamma8 - 17
Sleepless Assassin - 17
Steven Hacking - 13 , Zang - 3 - Total: 16
Tragedy - 32
Wraith - 73

___________

Looks like the "lying low" factor would apply largest to:

Myself based on tvellalot's limited play.
Nacho
Sleepless Assassin
Steven Hacking (although I see he picked up mid-month)
Lowell

And to a lesser degree Tragedy and diddin.

In games I've been a part of a lot of time mafia as well as town power roles will lie a little low so as not to be forced to claim or possibly be read, in the case of the latter, by mafia for nightkill etc...but here we have a uncountered doctor claim out and a dead verified sheriff....so this may lead some credence to the "off the wagon" list having a handful of mafia....Granted, there's obviously no guarantee in correlation...but figured it didn't hurt to put it out there for the town since I'm sleuthin' some.

Vote: nacho

The fact that he's being prodded now makes it less likely for me to believe that his posting style today is part of some PR and that he's actually just trying to lay low for the day.

I haven't been liking the way Consigliere has been trying to get votes on Sens strictly to see if he's lying (not that she thinks he is lying, but the fact that it's possible he's lying) but I've got this feeling that it's town motivated.

And I think it's pretty obvious where I stand on this, but for the record, I vote we go for the people off the wagon.

Generally (and this was Ythill's observation initially) scum don't tend to just disappear for a week at a time as a tactic. Those in a game who are tactically lurking are usually those who post roughly once per prod period.

There's a character or two or three that I wouldn't be surprised a player uses inactivity as a hint...but nacho has shown me none of that...so I'd rather just hear it from the horse's mouth in his case of a claim....if dude even bothers to claim or do anything else, that is. He was on this thread last night and didn't post...I know that for sure....much less mod prodding verification.

Steven:

Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun

Sat, Sun, Tue, Wed, Wed, Thu

There's a few of the two-day gaps there, a couple days with multiposts. So he kinda fits the 'Here, but not going out of his way to be especially active' paradigm of the scum flying under the radar. His actual posts look kinda middle of the road to me. His play looks quite a lot like I'd expect from decent scum.

SA's posts kind of have the burst pattern I associate with town. Flurries of activity with gaps between them.

Nacho just looks like he's disappeared. Obv not alignment relevant.

Lowell's eight posts in twelve days fit. Of course, he's actually lurking MUCH LESS than normal.

Benmage

We have no clue why we were restricted over night killed. Seeing as we strongly believed it implicated Jason and now he has claimed doc a set up isn't out of the question. It could just be we were on the right path with our other reads (kage + diddin) and were seen as a strong chance for a doc protect.

Really, we have no idea.

DH

In your post 901 you vote Mari for the "I take responsibility for my vote..." thing, when you basically did the same in post 885. AKA "you can question me too for the whole Mist deal too". I'm not seeing how Mari is scummy for this.

The rest of 901 is good though, we just think you voted the wrong person.

Jason

Can you lay out, in detail, your case on Hiraki? Don't reply with “look at my ISO” I don't recall you ever laying out all the points against him in one post. Can you do that ASAP please? It might help us understand where you are coming from better than numerous posts about how he needs to hang.

Also, if you find Tragedy to be scum, why aren't you voting for him when you consider Sens info? Hiraki was on wagon, Tragedy was not.

SA

We voted for Mist mostly for post 672. That was our last straw. Then ontop of all her crap actions during the day the claim she made was just awful. We truly believed that she was scum caught trying to out the real cop which is why we called for the hammer.

We think it is cute that you think there is two scum on the kage wagon but then don't go into detail about why you think that. kage has been very scummy so we are interested on hearing why you think he is town.

Consigliere

It's all fine and dandy talking about sens claim but what's your read on that player slot? We had a town read on sens before the claim and we're happy to take his info and roll with it. Of course we should keep thinking for ourselves but it basically comes down to your read which I don't think you have given.

Really given the timing and the manner of the claim by sens I'm not seeing scum motivation. Unless you want to argue that most if not all scum were on Mist's wagon.

The rest

Clearly with sens info we need to be lynching off wagon, the odds are stacked in our favour. So that's our vote

Unvote, Vote: diddin

diddin is our top read. Benmage and SA are two others we wouldn't mind lynching. Nacho is eh... Lurky. I think we can do better really.
