Seriously I never understand this on this site. Why would scum ever not lurk when the most active people are always the ones that get lynched.
One of those options is a lurker
but yes for what it's worth I agree with your point. whenever I finish a game there's always scum in the lurkers and there seems to be some sort of stigma against trying to lynch them
In post 1113, JarJarDrinks wrote:and Ausuka is prob town now. I don't think scum outs the neighborhood.
I do.
ok so scum-Ausuka would only do this if the other 2 members were town right.
So like, Ausuka outs the hood to get Wave lynched who then flips green and now Ausuka not only looks bad for pushing the mislynch but is one of 2 members of the hood left?
Seems like terrible scum play.
As I said before; I don't know Ausuka's scum game, and thus cannot say id she's good or bad at scum.

Completely agree with these two posts.
Lovebird, lal, android have been playing under the radar. Lal shows up, pops a naked vote , super opportunistic.
Jar, remember my first game on site and you were there, we were both town? It's insane.

It's not problematic if people are on the same wagon for different reasons imo.

Mylon and wheme, what are your reads of each other and why?
What are each of your scumreads, and why?

Nah, if we're going to start lynching for being in the neighborhood I'm going to make sure we keep lynching until we hit scum or the neighborhood is empty - it's consistent with what people are pushing right now.

I'm not going to let people argue that there's scum in a neighborhood of 3 and then if wavemode flips town back off and say they townread the other 2

I think a minority of people are actually saying that.
In post 1080, texcat wrote:VOTE: wavemode
I am willing to do this. Wave hasn't done anything to make me believe they are town. If we are lynching someone who hasn't done anything, my preference would be for ArcAngel9, but I understand that the neighborhood wants to clean itself up.
Almost missed this gem which again refers to the neighborhood mechanics

okay, now it turned into a neighborhood thing for Hopkirk when it wasn't
In post 1014, davesaz wrote:Heh, iso'd wave and yeah that's likely to be scum. VOTE: Wavemode
okay, never mentions Wavemode after this, no proof he actually iso'd anybody, no opinion presented
In post 1047, osuka wrote:VOTE: performer
we need a real wagon. if people arent down to lynch performer, i'll vote wavemode
lynching either gives a 50% chance of scum, as i see it, because im fairly confident ausuka is town
Listed as voting Wavemode but is actually on performer
Regardless, this is bad and again alludes towards neighborhood mechanics that don't exist
In post 1051, Performer wrote:The events that led up to this point tell me there are some hypotheticals:
-if wave flips red as mafia neighbor, then boom, ausuka & I are virtually cleared as town. Happy birthday to us , basically

VOTE: wavemode
This doesn't change my sr list either, I am willing to lynch any of my scumreads I stated.
More bad neighborhood spec when the original fos wasn't even based on that

Isn't that 3 votes in a 25 player game related to the hood? That's a minority to me.

I mean there's a wagon on you -_-
But I agree we do need other wagons given proximity to day end plus I feel fine with what I've gotten out of today so VOTE: wavemode
Not sure why this is a vote on Wavemode - was he voting the big osuka wagon earlier? If not that's really suspect

Ditto. I'm not impressed by neighborhood arguments. I'd probably design a game with 3 neighbors all town but not called masons just to play with the site meta, after seeing all these statistical arguments.

1st half of the Performer wagon was good/townreads.
Then Wave wagon happens pretty rapidly.
Then Performer grows by four.
Isn't Performer a counterwagon to Wave?
I was voting Wave prior to the neighbourhood thing (2nd vote, Ausuka only voted after I said I don't see Wave ever flipping town here).
I didn't ever explain
why
, and nobody asked me.

4/25 is still a minority to me.
But yeah I'm behind ppl saying hoods are NAI, I just think wave flips red anyway.

Meanwhile Osuka went from 10 votes to 3 just because... I don't know, actually. Why did everybody jump off of Osuka?
