This is a really good list, except i townread jessie

Gloria and Jessie im strongest on. Infinity is close to them. and below them, hopkirk + Pooky + Isis + Flea i've all gotten townleans on.

leaving ydrasse, golden, skitts, dunn, and gypx. Ydrasse and Golden i have weak reasoning for. The other three i just don't have an opinion on. I think Gypx's behaviour is sort of weird for scum but ive seen scum do it too. Skitts (along with Isis) in their sort of 1v1 i just have been glossing over after initially disagreeing with what i saw. I'm not confident in my ability to read skitts without associative information. Dunn is playing like he did in forest fire and silent star 1.. which unfortunately i took to be as a scumtell in Forest fire and miselimed him (or tried to anyway). i think I know what to watch out for to learn his alignment

I think jessie freaking out over the "I'm a jester" find is town indictative, it seemed genuine to me. I agree with Flea that it's very unlikely they are jesters, but im inclined to think scum!Jessie has the thought to search back for that post like this:

it explains gypyx posting the 'catchup time' post and then not catching up. it explains thegoldenparadox dedicating so much of their iso to tying themselves to gypyx. it feels like maybe not the very best way to orchestrate a day one dual jester plan but it definitely feels like a way and it explains all of the oddities of the game to me. i think there is a pretty good chance they are aligned jesters.
the weird "trying to die" thing made me go "Aha!" earlier, at least for a little bit. I think jessie is genuinely setup specing from this which goes along with what i was thinking at the beginning of the game

regarding the jester theory itself, no I don't think they are intentionally trying to die. I agree with Isis that Hectic likely wouldn't use a possibly hated mechanic such as punishing town for eliminating scum.

Jessie, what do you currentl give the odds of there being something related to Golden/Gypx trying to die? I think that Golden and Gypyx's behaviour is really odd, but i don't think suicidal

Have you played with jessie before, by any chance? i think it's specific but i dont think the reaction is odd given that we have spent a great deal of time establishing how strange those two's behaviour is and there isn't really a good explanation

Given that in theory EVERYONE LOSES to the jester, it could be either. Honestly, the overall reaction to the TGP wagon seems super questionable to me, convenient vote, convenient hop off, asking for unvotes and justifying with jester play...

Like I don't even need to draw the dot-to-dot for this line. I think TRQ knows something we don't. A double jester play is well weird considering the interactions between the two of them.

If I was running something with a royal theme I'd have 2 "neighbourhoods" with shady under the table objectives, some aligned-VTs, and either a 3rd party assassin with a target list or a survivor who'd be aware of the bride/groom/broom(LOL) or at least with some awareness of the setup, add a sprinkle of flavour, boom they're a Court Jester.

Nobody is going to lynch the jester, so I'd go for more the survivalist aspect.

Potentially. Court Jester, assassins [elim PlayerX], could even be rival suitors set to disrupt the wedding [survivor/bonus wincon if PlayerY is elim'd], Court Influencer could also be a potential 3rd party later [Make sure PlayerX and PlayerZ form a lovers pair]

it seemed like an incredibly awkward thing to focus on when an elimination was close, and to me, the beginning felt like an original, genuine thought process but the amount of thought and time jessie tried to spend on it felt overblown and fake. to be completely honest, i suspect jessie is a 3p of some sort.

In post 1265, Flea The Magician wrote:From and quished down.

Essentially, your entry felt forced. Hopkirk's joking around about sorcery and magic and all was natural, and they gave a review of everyone in the playerlist that gave people an incredibly good talking point to begin with and allowed for interactions in low information stage. You responded to that in a way that seemed nervous and jokey and that I didn't love. taylor's entry was problematic because she essentially "attacked" hopkirk in a way that felt overly aggressive and uncharacteristic for what i've seen of taylor, and it created fluff and continued a conversation that was unproductive and did not allow for real further interactions.

Could you break down what flags as good or bad to you in an entry post?

Honestly, it really depends on the player. Using extreme examples, someone like N_M has the exact same entry post every time, but someone like mastina (from what i've seen) has entry posts that profess genuine reads on every player that has posted so far. For a player I don't know (like you), a townie entry post would be a post that makes good observations, seems genuine, and/or tries to get out of low information stage, while a scummy entry post would be a post that seems forced, excessively random, an attempt to not tie yourself to your own vote, etc.

Could you explain your Isis vote in

Yeah, essentially I thought she was overfocusing on ONE specific thing I did instead of looking at content that had been given by people in general, and attacked me for being serious in RVS in a way that I thought was scum-motivated. She expanded and has been posting better lately, so she's nulltown.

What's a quick rundown of your reads list? We know your townlist, but little else.

town: gypyx, infinity, hopkirk
townlean: ydrasse, gloria, morning tweet, pooky
nulltown: jessie, isis
nullscum: flea
scumlean: dunn
scum: skitter

Why the defense of gypyx?

I feel like gypyx gets scumread far too often as town, and is a generally LHF type player, who i didn't want to see limmed because of how obvtown he was to me

Why so keen on Taylor/Dunn?
What little content they have, I've scumread quite a bit (as explained above), but to be totally honest I've reevaluated and they don't have enough content for them to be lockscum. skitter is worse for the reasons that have already been pointed out and like, ISOing her, she doesn't feel town in the way that I think town!her should; I don't really see the town motivation in her posts. also, my scumread on skitter is compounded by [redacted]

I don't really think jessies' response to the jester theory seemed faked. makes perfect sense to me, your/Gypyx's behaviours specifically is what felt strange and the jester theory almost made sense to explain it, but i think with more information it doesn't really make sense. OK so less than 50% chance of a scum read, this bugged me at the time but other things came to mind... like is she reading everyone as town at this point or something ಸ_ಸ

also my read of gypyx isn't mech talk, it comes from the mech talk
At time time, I assumed I'd missed something - like I'd noted it was irrelevant and I don't recall mentioning gypyx at all. I searched "gyp" in Jessies ISO looking for anything indicative of a read... there's nothing o.o

Then there's the weirdness around and again, and I don't get this...

no i am suspicious of hopkirk, and one of the reasons i can think of for why that post feels so off to me is that it was a coordinated thing
Skitters town and partners with hopkirk... but hopkirk is a bit sus... in a game where all townies are vanilla [by her reckoning and in the pm preview post]

fast forward a bit...

I didn't like this at the time, honestly. Seemed like a cheap save of TGP at this point and we go into 3rd party mechanics... which yeah fair the responses seem genuine but I still don't like it...
