VOTE: kerset
I'm worried that you have a ton of hedges on your vote here and a ton of scumspects in that list and aren't trying to figure out what's what in (us/cakez/umlaut/gamma/kerset) outside of vague suspicion

You'd be complaining right now if you were a PR right?
This is such an impressively ridiculous progression I don't think scum could make it
xHeavenx wrote:I wasn't townreading her by any stretch of the imagination I just much preferred Cakez here.
Never mind, maybe they could if they then backpedal

kerset was i feel like prepared to be helpful in last posts before hammer in a resigned townie kinda way and i would've expected that to continue if town and now we're getting kinda lolposts so here's to hoping
If Kerset is scum then my read on Cakez is unjustified, because I don't think Cakez tries to be all shock and awe at my hammer?

I don't think it's that AI. I've seen it from both alignments on people who flip both alignments

Probably not and I'm not hopeful to her being scum, I am banking a lot on my Cakez read right now.
In post 223, Datisi wrote:i didn't. but considering you're not revealing the reason, it's quite literally no use to me. i cannot tell the difference between town!lilith having an actual tell vs. a scum!lilith going "hehe guys i have a tell on cakez, no i will not tell you~"
really?
I don't think she needs to out the tell for you to have an opinion on whether she believes she has a tell on cakes or not.
On this subject, I’m thinking Cakez is town because of how he reacted to the unspoken tell situation, I remember him in two prior cases involving such things, once as town and once as scum, and his reaction feels similar to but not exactly the same as his reaction as town in the prior situation.
In post 268, Almost50 wrote:Interesting! "Vairy" interesting!! (The Gamma take on me is).
At first I thought he was joking or pulling a reaction test, whichever. But the more I read the more it felt like he is serious, and the question now is to figure if it's an "innocent genuine" suspicion or if it's because we know each other well and he wants me out ASAP.
Actually it was a reaction test, I knew my read was tenuous at best, so I feigned confidence to try to gauge your response
I feel decently well about it I think UNVOTE:
In post 214, xHeavenx wrote:I feel like half of the posts I'm reading so far are heavily influenced by meta on the other players and it's making me feel left out.
Do you have any thoughts of your own?
Not too much I'd be willing to commit to but I'll try my best. Limit is the one person I think is just town. A lot of the other people I'm not getting a sense of who they are, rather what they claim. The decisive arguments I want to see instead turn into what seems like bickering mostly.
I think Limit trying to persuade others with their own experience with cakez is the most townie thing in the game so far. Their words really jumped out at me, and it didn't seem like they were just showboating. It was an attempt to understand but also generate reads, which is what I tend to look for.
Are you generally an analytical person?
I think therefore I am?
Is that a serious answer?
Depending on whether the answer is yes or no to the original question, it will affect how I read you.
It's a serious answer. I can't tell you the reason for why my thoughts come out this way, they just do.
I'll interpret these combined responses as a yes
Which means I unfortunately cannot comfortably call you town for your thought process just yet, since I was wanting to TR your depth of thought, but it seems that's just how you are as a person.
In post 341, Tigerente wrote:Even if we were scum there's no universe where I just filter everything through skitter first - it's not like that happens in scum PTs either even if people like to claim it does.
this conversation seems entirely philosophical in nature and therefore not particularly alignment relevant - do you have any reads outside of cakez so far? hard to see where you're at from your ISO.

Assuming this was directed to me - my comments were entirely about your appeal to your individual meta and why that isn’t valid. I said nothing about your alignment nor do I have a read on you alignment.
I have no reads at all - cakez included. Expect for pooky. But that should be apparent.
I don't know if I'm being stupid for thinking this but I think scum!Pingu could have faked reads atp

quick summary of cakes’ and my games together over the past year or so: he’s rolled town in I think every game we’ve played together, I’ve rolled a mix of scum and town. We’ve also hydra-ed together (once as scum and twice as town iirc).
I would say it’s something of a running joke that I “fooled” him in my scumgames against him, and in the next game he always brings it up and says “lilith I won’t trust you anymore” or something to that effect. He didn’t even attempt to interact with me here and he didn’t bring up the fact that he also messaged me about hydra-ing for this game until like 20 posts ago, way after I started poking at/voting him. I would’ve expected cakes to bring up our most recent game together, in which I was scum and he was town, and which ended not very long ago; I would’ve expected him to enter with immediate paranoia about me — instead he straight up ignored me and ignored my vote until there was basically too large of a wagon on him to ignore. In his responses to me he is solely defensive and doesn’t question my motivations at all. His voting heaven made me vote him because that was the point where I started feeling like it felt “wrong” that he hadn’t expressed any paranoia on me or interacted with me at all.

I feel like I get the sort of mindset behind the sort of opening you expected, and via that I'm thinking it could have to do with Cake being otherwise occupied when doing his entrance
to explain another way, I tend to like doing RVS entrances that go off past meta with someone in the game. The issue is, I pretty much only get one chance to use any one entrance, so I might decide I want to use something else in a case where I could have used a meta joke. As such, I'm wondering whether there was something on Cakez's mind that impacted his willingness to open with the "I'm not trusting lilith" line
Plus, his explanation of already kinda TRing you maybe makes sense, even though the timeline is off? My concern is why not make the jokey entrance anyway?
In post 349, Almost50 wrote:Q: Am I allowed to live in my own world under my own dome for a few seconds?? Cuz if I was I'd bet the game on the Mafia being of 3 members, and my solve would be precisely Gamma/Kerset/Heaven
Gamma comes in pushing a very "strange" meta-driven case on me (forgive me for calling it a case), and Kerset hops on it. Gamma backs off, Kerset falls back into the shadows, and Heaven takes on the spearhead position with yet another inexplicable "case".
My point is SCUM!GAMMA would be afraid of me. He tries to push me in hopes I'd react in a way that could be taken advantage of. Kerset sneaks in to aid him (knowing the reason behind this behaviour from their PT), but since I didn't react in a way that would justify Gamma's push on me he walks it back, but still wants me out so Heaven now can lead the campaign under the guise they don't know me (or anyone else) so cannot be blamed for taking this stance.
Well, I've got news for you: I ain't going down today, so lay off and try another approach.
Now I can go out of my dome and realize the whole world doesn't actually revolve around me, but not before I posted this to refer to in post-game. :P
Here we go!
Yeah I think A50 is towntelling a bit with this
Question for the monkey: Who's mafia in the case of a 2 mafia team?
what do you mean by "towntelling"?
- lilith
I think the complex thought process feels pretty towny
Keep in mind though: this post could absolutely come from SK as well, and I think my inclination is to read SKs as town, if LN 231 was any indication. I just don't think it's a mafia post rn
