Although in a weird roundabout way, I think getting lynched here will actually help me so much in not coming back here.

i have this problem where i romanticize the idea and theory of mafia and then i sign up for games because i forget there are things like EP's argument for why Wooper should have been the lynch. I forget there are players like TSE. i forget the status quo is to just mindlessly follow the pattern you have since the day you got on the site. i forget that games are often completely devoid of any attempt at rationality or collaberation, players just wanna list the most possible names they can as having been scum so they can be "right" at the end of the game and feel self-rightously angry even though they repeatedly completely fucked their team over. i forget that "reads" are put on a pedestal above everything else and selective memory teaches people that their reads are always right even when they're most often wrong. this site consistently lowers my standard for the median person, and that makes me angry because at least in theory that's not what this site is about. At least not to me. Maybe I'm just crazy and everything I'm observing is wrong and it's me who's fucked up. I don't know. At this point, I don't care. I really fucking hope i die soon, though. I hope i die irl.

to be fair to TSE, this is a terrible place to learn how to play mafia, so i expect a large portion of his bad habits and playstyle will go away much much slowwer than they should, because i think he's very smart, he just very very much missses the point on a lot of things and this site is so absolutely bad for anyone to learn good habits for playing mafia or how to interact with people in a healthy way
