The first physical obstacle the expedition faced was the river. Although four teams were able to cross without incident, two teams were forced to share a makeshift boat. Unfortunately, it quickly became obvious that the boat would not support the weight of all four members, and somebody would have to be jettisoned. Eventually, Nobody Special was shoved out of the boat where he quickly succumbed to the rapids. In the last moment before he went under, everybody noticed a tattoo on his hand that clearly resembled the ancient insignia of the Temple Guards. The expedition was safely across the river, but what dangers lurked ahead?

I actually think NS's ISO makes Majiffy town, since NS tried to use the same logic for SC scum ( who was town ), to cast some weak suspicion on Majiffy. He only mentions Majiffy one more time after that, I think, which is again just an off-hand indication of NS's "scumread" on Majiffy.
Other than Majiffy and SC ( one of whom is dead ), NS has only interacted with Grim and Amrun. Going to readread both right now.
