i'm willing to hammer if we all have our ducks in a row for the day....

EBWOP: if true, his ability would suggest immunity to blue scum (which looks to be magical) whereas red seems weapons/physical based.

I still think we need tp discuss the best/ a good use for my Question

i think Sixty's idea was pretty spot on:

Sixty wrote:What about "Are fatlikepig, sword_of_omens, Sixty and Shamrock all aligned with the Town?", sent to jason + Konowa + kortul? Unless Europuppy is parsing pidgey's claim incorrectly, nothing says the question needs to be about the three people he sends it to.

again, i'd feel better if you sent it to Sixty, Konowa, and Kortul rather than Jason, Konowa, and Kortul though.

by clarifying the sensor result, we could potentially clear a lot of people.

Im ok with that, but potential problemas could be that, what if the answer is "no"? And the one that gets it is simply lying and he got a yes. I dunno.

Uh...

Why would TOWN {jason, Konowa, kortul} lie and say they got "fatlikepig, Shamrock, Sixty, sword_of_omens all share a wincon" instead of "fatlikepig, Shamrock, Sixty, sword_of_omens DO NOT all share a wincon" if that is the answer they get?

What is the possible motivation for a Town player to lie about their result?

We believe the question having an answer is more important than the ones who get it. jason is obvTown, sword. It does not make any sense for him to be scum and act the way he has, nor does it make any sense for him to be scum with ckd. He's a better target for the answer, the question was crafted to have {A} and {B} not intersecting on purpose.

Oop i meant it the other way around.

We are saying that due to FLP's result there is scum in those 3 right?

And we want one of those 3 to get an answer that responds as to whether the other 4 are town, just so we are sure of how to proceed, right?

What if the one that gets is scum, gets that YES they are all town, and just says "oh, one of those 4 is scum".

We lynch that person first to prove the truth of their statement. Simple. A Town player who gets a "No" has to realize they need to be lynched for a chance at a Town win.

I really just hope shmugen flips scum :(

Im scared due to bastardness etc that this will go as well as we are hoping.

Anyway will wait a bit for hammer in case anyone wants to address anything else

The one who will say so will have to be lynched first then, to verify it (all three are supposed to be lynched in 2-3 days anyway). If he flips town, that would mean that FLP information is incorrect, and then whoever are alive will have hard decisions to make. I doubt anyone would believe Sixty to be scum, so essentially there will be just another lynch pool of 2-3 players after that.

I don't see how the final red could NOT be in Shmugen/kortul unless ICENinja is non-sane or my read on Konowa is horrifyingly off (I really don't think it is)

As of Shmugen's last few posts I now want to lynch him more than kortul, so.

Perhaps Grey, but Thor is the only mafia member that looks like their kill flavor would be magical.

That makes -zero- sense. Be kill resistant to one person on one scum team. Even factoring bastard, no.

Posted: Wed Nov 28, 2012 10:56 am
by Shmugen
Correct. Leading me to believe that there should be one more, on the red team. Couple that with no deaths last night and I'm thinking we're looking for Dresden or Cowl (was he in book 3).

Shmugen wrote:@Sixty: Tell you the truth, I don't know. I have no reason to believe there are 3+1 redscum over 2+1 redscum. The Chrono Trigger game threw my expectations for scum numbers completely to hell.

Yes. I said there should be one more magic user, not necessarily one more mafia, though I am willing to accept the wisdom of my peers. Perhaps someone had some insight I did not.

What is your rolename/flavor justification for your ability Shmu?

Posted: Wed Nov 28, 2012 11:48 am
by Shmugen
The layout of my bar is so arranged as to dispel magic. Rolename is Bulletproof Townie.

I don't think the claim really makes any sense. And we already have a Bulletproof Miller flipped.

Anything we need to do before hammering?

Posted: Wed Nov 28, 2012 12:54 pm
by pidgey
Oh i forgot miller flipped lol

Though that does bring the question as to how the miller died I guess. Maybe he was affected by magic, contrary to shmu, if both are town?

The flavor suggests that it was probably CKD in wolf form using his strongman kill.
