Yeah, that is really too bad, since I probably will never be NKed either.

i'm trying to play the game, jake.
i blocked SMP because i figured scum would send their most heavily suspcted scumbag to do the kill (so that they wouldn't lose much if they were caught out by a tracker/watcher/roleblocker).
assuming 10 town vs 3 scum (standard for minis), there was a 1/9 chance that a hypothetical scumroleblocker targeted me (additionally, we have to assume that the scum's roleblock resolves before mine).
SMP is scummy and, even assuming a mafia roleblocker, i like my 8/9 odds. i'm going with it.

kk. I will save you the time of doing your research: If SMP flips scum, go ahead and use my push for HS' wagon over SMP's at the end of Day 1 as reason for voting me.

I won't even need a reason, nothing of your play suggests pro town so you are obv scum
if you happen to have a town role pm, well that;s your fault for playing with scum side instead of town side

do you think smp is what he says he is (or is at least an investigative role of sorts)? if yes, why do you think he lied about getting a result? if no, why do you think he fake-claimed that specifically? (keeping in mind bork gives actual fake-claims that make sense for whatever role they actually are)
he could very well be scum but i do not think he is lying about his role (or at least not lying about being some sort of investigative role), so i think some funky shit went on last night

1) you're his scum partner
2) he has a scumbuddy feeding him results (i don't know what bork does, i'll go look at that in a sec; but i post mafia rolecop results in the QT; daytalk would also enable this).
3) he figured he was going down anyway and wanted to either out you as a PR or vanilla
there's 3 plausible explanations off the top of my head

(1) actually is the least plausible explanation you could possibly think of. i mean, it assumes he is lying about his target, knows he was roleblocked, and decided to claim a result on a scum buddy because... ~magic reasons~
(2) don't think bork has ever included day talk for scum in his games? this would be the first game it's happened if they do have it?
(3) is meh, possible i suppose

There was daytalk in Xenoblade via a mafia encryptor.

welllllll then i suppose i'm wrong and that's possible. (2) is still an unlikely assumption, even if it is technically possible

My initial feeling after seeing HS's flip was that Scar was looking pretty bad/opportunistic for his wagon hops at the end of D1, but when he replaced out as he said he would, it's hard for me to assign motivations to someone who didn't care at that point. I also had some bad feelings about you, but that was before you came out with your result on BRO, so I'm not pursuing that at the moment.
In post 1249, Aegor wrote:Please give us your opinion of SMP at the beginning of the day in more detail than in your first post.
He's done nothing of note. The D1 case on him seemed to be mostly built on lurking and meta. I've never played with him before, and his few posts didn't stand out to me as particularly good or bad. That's about the extent of what I thought about him up until D2. Like I said, I just don't feel very strongly about his play one way or the other.
Aegor's posts on page 51 are LOLbad. I'm not even sure what the point of his argument is, regardless of alignment.

Anti, you suspected me pretty heavily yesterday, and I believe more people suspected me than SMP, so why not block me instead?

Actually, this was my first thought as well (you being a possible buddy). It guarantees his investigation result will be confirmed (even if it's a lie). If Anti had turned out to be a tracker or something and confirmed that SMP didn't actually target you, you are not implicated and say SMP just made a lucky guess.
SMP, can you claim your flavor name and confirm that your role is specifically called "odd-night role cop and reporter"? And to confirm exactly how your role works, if you were to investigate a PR (of either alignment), you would get their actual role (e.g. "cop", "doctor", "roleblocker", etc.), but if you investigate a VT/goon, you get "vanilla"?

mine is very green this game
but that is more of a bad joke i started with nacho while 169 was ongoing because i specifically made the joke in the scum QT there

that assumes whether or not he is telling the truth is a determining factor in whether or not he gets lynched, and anti didn't start a 1v1 with him til AFTER he claimed

If we hadn't had a strong town read on PhDScar we would have investigated you last night because lolparanoia.

Because BRO can play a very subtle and hard to spot scum game, and he hadn't done anything awesomely town on day 1. And if he's town his analysis should be more valuable than what at least half the player list will put into the thread.
Of all the players in the game we felt like he and muffin are the trickiest to read. Muffin did us the favor of replacing into a slot we already thought was town.
Bro's alignment is our gift to future game days.
