Can anyone tell me if this setup spec is realistic? Are neighbor alignments assigned by random? I feel like the hood is being scapegoated.

Also, I'd really like to finish at least one game with Wimpy.

I wanted to not use meta this game but couldn't help it. Profii I skimmed your vig game and you were actually involved. Do you just not like being VT or what? in this setup all-town hood is paired with investigative since town has two separate roleblockers. if cop clears hood then he can claim results through them to dodge rb. it's kinda a weird setup because a lot of people don't like "follow the cop" as an archetype (doc+cop vs scum + rb). Hood is likely an addition to make up for the scum rb power being split between two slots

this setup is just kinda weird. all man hood is pointless and there for wifom, maybe to screw up town thought process given scum also have a traitor scum have 1-shot rb and 1-shot rolecop! vs. no town invest? town only has even night vig and doc? to make up for the imbalance, one scum is traitor, but still, this is a very scumsided setup and kinda gross (some people in the thread said they liked it tho so taste may differ)

traitor also recruitable. 1543 is like a testament to not putting too much faith in setup spec as a case study I guess you could say and not assuming setups in normal queue will be good. Don't know any of the reviewers for this one but I am skeptical a setup like this would pass NRG today.

The inconsistencies are so blatant they sort of obviously scream bullshit: if he was trying to spread paranoia, why not just push the one scum in the neighborhood line and leave it at that?

game was lost lynching the final member of the hood, although not due exclusively to hood spec but rather because the last hoodie had made some dumb wifomy comments earlier in the game apparently

that being said I've kinda moved on from my setup spec argument, I'm willing to accept there could be scum in the hood, I just don't think looker is scummier than profii atm

Id just like to say that if we do lynch in the neighbourhood we lynch who is the scummiest of the three and not all three just off setup speculation. Which is probably what people above said in different words.

Something that doesn't make sense about Profii's explanation for his play:

He says he played as hard as he could when he was a Mason because his role was self-resolving, and I get that to an extent, but why would he meekly take the lynch as a VT? Surely the only reason not to play as hard as he can here is because he doesn't want to get wagoned and eat the lynch, but when that is already happening then what is stopping him exactly? What does he have to lose at this point? It isn't a mindset that makes sense to me.

I could understand it a little more if he were like 'lynch me and then do this Tomorrow', with some sort of plan to use his death as a springboard for something, but there is nothing at all. I don't really see this reaction coming from Town.

I'm not a VT but I am a negative utility which is why I'm not bothered about being lynched

I'm a traffic analyst... I'm gated but I wont reveal it... I checked JT n1 because I wasnt here and I had to go last night and I remember him being like "not playing day 1" so figured that's as good as any

Then the hood claim came out and I was like "hmm maybe not scum then" coz I figure my role is going to flag up 5 or 6 players as "maybe guilties"
