Benmages claim of bodyguard rather than doctor actually makes a great deal more sense with the setup and with Mers's "If MoI dies lynch me" statement. I don't nor will I ever understand Benmages reluctance from reading the game to work out who to protect N1 after replacing in but it's not exactly a scum-tell moreso a sign of a terribad player which ASOSIS proves he is. Regardless his lynch is retarded at this point, that slots town and Mers's actions end of D1 prove that.

@ Hind - I've never claimed to be your best friend nor anything close to it but that doesn't mean that I'm unaware of your meta or playstyle.

@ Vi - You're better than this, get of Benmage and join us on Hind or at the very least start a wagon on Vezok instead.

The answer to why Meransiel would offer to be lynched D2 is because he didn't expect to have to pay out. Offhand I can think of two reasons available for this.
*Meransiel is actually a Bodyguard.
*Meransiel is scum who knew they could talk their way out of it.

There's a third one, but it reaches into tinfoil hat land and would involve widespread blacklisting after the game. Let's assume it's not the case here and focus on the other two.

Meransiel actually being a Bodyguard makes some of what he claimed and somewhat less of what you have attempted to do as well. I'm speaking specifically of your call for a mass nameclaim, Meransiel's call for a mass join date claim (which Meran-scum wouldn't have reason to do) and your request for a list of which power roles have been outed. It's just a bit too much to be a play-act.

The easiest way to deal with this is etc.

If Mers died N1 after protecting MoI, it'd mean scum shot MoI (since no vig would), thus confirming his results. Which would make that entire rant make sense.

If there was someone even competent in that slot at any point, I'd assume gambit, but that's dumb enough for Meran, and Benmage is just dumb enough to assume his life is the most valuable thing possible and NOT ACTUALLY READ THE FUCKING GAME.

A few minutes after posting I decided I was comfortable with my vote, and here's why.

1) GUT! >=D
2) At the very worst, lynching Hinduragi (assuming a Town flip) will rid the game of an apathetic lurker who has tried to tailor his posts to be as obstructive as possible while solely targeting someone who will probably be in the hot seat Tomorrow anyway. In other words, there's nothing to lose.
3) On the other hand, lynching Hinduragi (assuming a scum flip) should completely turn the game upside down, causing GreyICE to work twice as hard to lynch Curly and eight times as hard to lynch Larry. In other words, there's everything to gain.
4) Hinduragi has claimed a power related to being on scum lynches, yet he has not been on a single lynch wagon so far - not even until the SDC wagon Today.
5) If I have to lose, I'm not going to spend postgame listening to "I can't believe you fell for the 'post restriction' defense" - especially if I instead lynch someone who went to the trouble of posting a vote count analysis without the explicit intent of manipulating people (IIRC).
6) We've been deadlocked for what feels like a week, everyone hates each other, and I'm on vaycay. Five reasons is enough. I'll deal with the fallout when I get back to my own computer, and until then I'll enjoy how much better this place is than where I live normally.

The thought process went like this:

If he was full of crap, he'd have said he tracked us somewhere and been busted. If he was a scum tracker, he'd be tracking us because he'd assume we were a power role OR scum would just kill us because omg power role track. And, frankly, us getting NK'd would have been pretty nice.

Didn't work out great, but assuming they didn't just GUESS we went nowhere some resource was wasted.
