It's just a general thing I've noticed, scum don't really want to draw attention to themselves. It may be the correct play in some cases, but a lot of times they're scared to.

Right, and you have it backwards. Its MORE likely that Scum hammer than going off on this, "Scum know they shouldn't hammer because then they look Sus". If Scum want a PR dead, they will prolly Hammer that. We are talking about a JOAT in a game where there is very limited NA going on.

I know I personally don't find Manuel Scummy, so I'm not going to just change my read on him simply for hammering, but I think Scum is more likely to hammer in that situation than not.

No I think you're just looking at things rather than reading things. Looking at the most normal/logical then thinking outside

Of course scum would try to not draw attention to themselves and would prob not hammer or be a bw vote but that's so basic it doesn't seem true or it may just be not true and I think making towny things off that is a mistake

It's common to look for scum in the middle of the wagon when doing VCA, but that doesn't stop scum from changing. Scum generally try to blend in because they're scared that people will catch them if they stick out.

I'm not saying being on the wagon is towny, I'm saying the hammerer specifically is more likely to be town than not. Of course depends on the player, etc but that's my experience in general.

It really depends on how you think the town will scumhunt. If I didn't know I would try to stay in the middle of the wagon.

I think taking things by situation to situation better then the "In general" townreading/scumreading a lot of people are doing

Instead of looking at waht scum would normally do in this case. Maybe it's better to look at the situation and see what scum WOULDN'T do

If you need better clarification just ask

I think scum WOULDN'T make a big deal out of wanting to lynch the town PR
