Gypyx claimed ascetic first, shelly, and only changed to being commuter after you claimed. You're assuming that similarity in flavor means the roles in the same, but if you look at the flip for Pelican:

Boon has gone out of his way to inform different parties, including town, of the existence of players "away from town" or "in another universe" which suggests that scum rolecards could have very easily included a hint to this effect. You're presupposing that informed is an unlikely solution when informed isn't even necessary; any variant role with distinctive rules text could allude to "out of universe" flavor.

You could maybe say 'occam's razor, gypyx doesn't make the gambit in the way he did as scum' and that's fine, but you're acting like he's hard town off flavor similarities and it just isn't a good argument I'm sorry

I think the weirdest thing I find about GX right now is how he has not reacted to this conversation between me and shelly pretty much at all, I kinda feel like he hasn't read or has only barely read like the last 6 pages, which while it is low information a lot of it was just directly about him which is just weird for him to not comment on

Not just the 6 pages. It feels disconnected from the whole game.

I'm unsure on Ydrasse currently as well. I saw some towny things early on regarding her feelings on Bell, but avoiding the Vax wagon - which had plenty of good reason based on Vax's play alone - because she felt bad about the angleshoot is iffy.

This also felt tonally off to me, but there's the argument that scum makes more of an effort to make it look like they actually scumread the slot over the fact they're just bussing.

TGP should probably just get a pass today on the basis that he was early on and stayed on till Vax was killed.

There's a good argument to be made that the remaining two scum are PRs, assuming we have 3 scum and somehow not 4. Actually, that is a possibility, isn't it? We do have a lot of flipped and claimed power so far.

If there's 4 scum, it could easily be 3 goons + 1 PR. How common is it to have 4 scum in 15 though... you'd need A LOT of town power

Hello. The moment you have all been waiting for. BEF's Coveted VCA Analysis D2 Edition.

This is a RT post. Everything will be posted as I notcie it. Except for this:

This time I have decided to look from the Vax wagon. I do think that scum are on the wagon too but I want to start off of the wagon. If nothing feels good with those off the wagon, then I will move to those on the wagon (which I will probably do anyways at another time, regardless of this result)

Here are the contenders:

1. Ydrasse, , Happy Unbirthday Boon, Shoshin , Aristophanes, , Gypyx

2. Ydrasse, Happy Unbirthday Boon, Shoshin (NicoRobin), Aristophanes, Gypyx

Now, I will look to who was on the Vax wagon was but left before the hammer.

The only people to unvote and not get back on were and Gypyx. TPB flipping green lets us know that town is capable of this. Given Gyp's claim thingy today, I don't think VCA points to Gyp today. But it could add up with later things.

Bust.

Now, re-reading the Vax votes, HUB and Sam left but came back (was the hammer vote) are the most pinging votes.


Ydrasse, Shoshin, Aristophanes are left to sort.

Unfortunately, Shoshin (Nico) and Ari had 0 content to look at. Shoshin coming in looks town at first glance.

I have been TRing Yd I think for the entire game so I can't find the will to SR that slot atm.

So if we aren't dealing with too-scared-to-post scum Nico and Ari. My most likely scum candidate offwagon is HUB.
But with so many open questions to the inactive slots, I don't feel like this alone should be a reason to SR HUB.

My next VCA will look to see if I find any pings from someone besides Sam.

Looking through TS's ISO, there were no mentions or interactions with Sam and Yd. FWIW.

Even if it was three remaining scum most of them would still be non vanilla, look at other boon games. I was thinking mayne three with some 3ps. There's definitely still 3+ nontown alive, which could be 2 scum and 1+ 3p or about 3 scum

I'm confused by BEF's vca, I never voted vax and certainly did not leave the wagon and come back. I don't understand what wagon I'm leaving and coming back from.

I didn't come back to any wagon, I voted pelican then switched to nico halfway thru the day

Looking back, I agree with HBB that this raises concerns. Scum tend to over justify reads they know are wrong, and while the reasoning is weak, it's also over justification relative to the other reads.
