Scarra might have touched on why the NA scene performed so poorly. He said they basically went all-out for a whole month and thought they were really well prepared. Yes, that is a lot of work, but these Korean teams have been practicing all-out for their entire careers. The playoffs so far have proven that in order to be at the top you have to give 100% to the game and nothing less. They need to prepare like that all the time if they want to compete in S3.

And also, I agree 99% with what Hindu said.

Hell, I blame Riot. The internet thing was definitely something that could've been prevented. I don't think they deserve THIS, especially to the scale it's grown to be. If there was a definitive place where all of this started and was stated all at once with pitchforks being raised all around, the "Well, that escalated quickly" picture would've been perfect. 10k upvotes perfect. I just think that right now, the best thing the community can do is deal with it, no matter how frustrating all of it is.

Yeah well to be fair the League of Legends community on the whole is pretty shit.

I recommend watching it when you have the chance. It's hard to summarize all the things he touched upon. He thinks they prepared as best as they could do (they were only really able to scrim against TSM) and that after the loss to clg.eu they werent mentally tough enough in the saigon jokers game, allowing jokers to outplay them, and he basically feels horrible for their performance.

His comments on the na scene seems to be spot on. Dig was only able to actually scrim against TSM (and TSM, according to scarra, even thought that Dig was going to make it out of group stage). The two clgs were busy scrimming with each other, curse streams all the scrims, and legion/mme/orbit all had commitments that prevented them from scrimming. After that there is basically no one else to practice with, which scarra says is a huge difference between NA and the other regions.

Also, Hindu's post on the issues was pretty great.

Well, lets do the same as the previous time. I don't exactly know if you knew who was going to go mid, but that should be doable. As kayle, you have surprisingly little to fear from anyone but MF, and even her you beat in a lane. You don't need a regrowth pendant. (which is basically the panic item. AAAAAAAH they are going to murder me).

So, coming into lane, you don't know a thing. You wait till 1.54 and then you facecheck that bush. Just don't. You don't gain a thing from it. If they stay there till the minions come, hide behind your minion wave and try to farm. If they come in then they fight your minions as well. Just leave it.

Then, you find out it's xin/mf you are playing. You probably remember xin from the previous time. The guy seriously hurts early game. Mf is ranged. Nothing you can't deal with. Until you at 3.50 or so, you facecheck the second bush, behind their minion wave, where the mf is. With a xin in lane who is lv2. Jumps on you, gets 3 hits off, that's it. That wasn't aggression you needed to use. You could have farmed and each time Xin tried to get a minion throw a slow or an autoattack on him.

And that's where I stopped!

I don't know, i might try Twitch. No interest in Lux, own the rest. Bummer there is only 1 6300 for the new people tho. Like for smurfs/real new players, I can see this week being extraordinarily annoying. Twitch, trynd, Kog, Panth, Fiddle, Jax are all pretty annoying when fed. Not enough Survivability in this batch.

It's a great free week purely because there's no fucking Teemo.
