Also F16 if you could post that ffery meta thing soon, that'd be baller. I want to partially put on my big boy pants and develop a ffery read independent of Nacho.

A weed is a plant considered undesirable in a particular situation, "a plant in the wrong place". Examples commonly are plants unwanted in human-controlled settings, such as farm fields, gardens, lawns, and parks. Taxonomically, the term "weed" has no botanical significance, because a plant that is a weed in one context is not a weed when growing in a situation where it is in fact wanted, and where one species of plant is a valuable crop plant, another species in the same genus might be a serious weed, such as a wild bramble growing among cultivated loganberries. Many plants that people widely regard as weeds also are intentionally grown in gardens and other cultivated settings. The term also is applied to any plant that grows or reproduces aggressively, or is invasive outside its native habitat. More broadly "weed" occasionally is applied pejoratively to species outside the plant kingdom, species that can survive in diverse environments and reproduce quickly; in this sense it has even been applied to humans.

I am intimately acquainted with weeds. After 6 months of total neglect my gardens are a little shop of horrors.

Town-you would NOT interact with me for that many pages and come away with such a shit read. A scumread, maybe. but not that one.

Condescending? Could not be further from the truth. I don't think I've ever interacted with you with less candor than I have since you joined this game.

I am not scumreading for being condescending.

I expect town-you to be plenty condescending and talk about how I'm a poor scumhunter. I don't expect town-you to expect me to read you correctly. You are pulling the same shit on me that Tammy did in Fantasy Camp "read me as town or else you are shit at reading me/are scum." It feels manipulative as fuck and designed to get me to back off.

Don't care. Pretty damn sure this is scum-you. A couple days ago I linked a post to AP where I thought you were hitting some notes that reminded me of the Serum and Steel game. I put it aside and tried to meet you half way because you were interacting with me, and interaction was what I desperately needed to get my head into this game.

This time, I think you believe I'm lynch-vulnerable. I am. And I hope to hell that my flip burns you and your team hard.

This was not the reaction I expected from scum-you. I still have concerns about the way you reacted to the wagon on D1. It felt like you posting a ton of analysis so as to look productive and pro-town but the analysis was so bare and not in-depth that I can't follow any of it and I feel that you tend toward minimalism as scum if you feel that you are caught.

Your interaction with me early game still feels weird. Why did you immediately ask me if why I was enquiring about you and Cabd when I replaced into the game? It read as an extremely defensive response to a simple question.

I've outlined my meta concerns in my previous post but I'm nowhere near as sure I was before based on the response so probably not going to do a case at this point. I think it would take Ffery having improved her scumgame by a mile to 1v1 with me in response to my suspicion.

This specifically. The passion and fire in this post is beyond what I've seen from scum-Ffery.

Because it seemed like an odd thing for you to focus on. You said you weren't caught up, but my interaction with Cabd was the first (and at the time only) thing you asked about. There was the nolynch. There was the reaction to boonskii's action claim. And there were dozens of other little things.

Your flippant, condescending (there's that word) reply was what reminded me of Serum and Steel.

Why do you believe what's interesting or important to you should align with what is interesting to me?

There was no condescension coming from my side.

Also, if you are so sure I'm scum, why aren't you trying to convince anyone about it?

What struck me was Cabd didn't seem enthusiastic so I was surprised to see a town read coming out of it. I don't really understand what you mean by "tonal content" and "how vulnerable would scum-Cabd make his strategy with weak presence early on?"

That was supposed to be joke. Perhaps I'm not as funny as I think but I'm lost as to how in the world you read that as condescending.

And are you actually claiming that I'm scum because I'm condescending (by your definition) and I'm scum for calling you scum for being condescending (which I wasn't, but you misunderstood it and concluded that I was scum)?

It immediately reminded me of this post from Serum and Steel.

I'm not even sure why it made me think of that post, aside from the sense of condescension I got from it.

That S&S post was also on my mind in the FF10 game, and was the reason I said something about mutual disrespect possibly having something to do with our not doing much with our common ground in games.

No, it's not based on hypocrisy if that's what you're asking.

I'm not pushing it, not yet, anyway, because I'm rolling it around in my head. I don't like that it was a reactive thing, but a bunch of niggles crystalized all at once when I saw where you were heading. I expected that interacting with me, especially when I was being way more candid than I usually am about what's running through my head, wouldn't have solidified a scumread.

The biggest difference I saw was that Ffery upon being pushed as town normally goes into observation mode making remarks about the gamestate. Whereas when scum, she puts emphasis on posting analysis/reads to talk her way out of it and as a last resort cuts down on her interactions with other players. What similarities did you find here vs Serum and Steel?
