firstly not. you voted him. but because of claiming, not because of attack on your townie.

So maybe you can be partners with T3, not scumreading him and not intercepting of doing smth bad for town from your POV... And just pocketing Enchant.
Or maybe you are partners with Enchant and trying not to show it much with the defense, hoping that this storm will end soon.
That's trash six-degrees-of-separation scum hunting. People's abilities to zero in on actual scum aren't that great. Even the best of the best score only slightly above chance.
It's Day 1, I think
player A
is scum!
Player B
disagrees with me and defends
player A
, so
player B
must be a buddy of
player A
.
Player C
scumreads
player B
, therefore
player C
is in the town pile.
Player D
is going after
player C
so
player D
must be scum. My Day 1 solve is A/B/D!!!!!!!!!!!!! Curiously

Oh good grief. I've been posting naked reads sine 1973 when we played mafia through academic email with reel-to-reel main frame computers and posts came out of a dot matrix printer.
I also don't give a shit if anyone wants to scumread my town reads. Maybe they're right.
I know the correct play is to leave them both alive for a round in a game this large but... idk, I don't care if they both die.
Is there any way to elim them both in one time today?) Maybe some rule in mechanics
And i agree that at least 1 scum here
But i can understand the necessity to wait for checks and think about it more after night kill.
1.) If you're town here this is cavalier as fk. Do you actually believe that both slots are scum and/or the town would overall be better off with both dead?
2.) I think you know how unlikely a double-elim is to be a thing mechanically in a normal, but you want to give the impression that you would be massively relaxed about both slots being killed
My working tin-pot theory here is Vasex/T3 are S/S and Vasex wants to give off vibes that he's ok with a T3 elim while knowing its not gonna mechanically be a thing

this was about me about direction. though i didnt say im ok with elimination of t3. thats why i decided to write posts in his defense from 1206 to 1219. and this was after my post where i promised not to post much... couldnt watch how ppl are going to elim possible active townie. instead of more scummy persons
though sometimes im ready to elim a townie with mafia, if im so sure that one of them is definitely mafia. and i just questioned about mechanics.

So would I be right in thinking that you think 1 of Kitty/T3 is mafia and that is more likely to be Kitty?

If so, why would you raise the idea of eliming both of them? Surely better to elim the one you SR more first, and then go from there?

i even said it somewhere. because in my understanding there is more chances that there is only 1 cop in the game, but there are two. this is rather common situation. the only problem, i usually play in games with 1 cop and the second cop is always fake cop... but here can be something unusual for me and there can be two cops, am i right? or even maybe town fake claims, i dont know local people well, so im not so sure about all claiming, i give it more time and i sometime miss some text about all claimings in this game (especially in the beginning), prefering to understand it later, when the things will be much clear.

In other news...
Nero gets ++TR for good game management and raising the point about starting to work towards a PoE
Kerset gets ++TR for valid criticism of Nero's LHF PoE
Ana's entrance is NAI but shows she is generally competent at the game. I also appreciated the flattery towards my slot.
I'm inclined to believe Andres ref being unwell (would be pretty below-the-belt for scum to use this as a play), so will give them a bit of space for now
I can empathise with Cabd's pain, also working in IT and having been called into the office at short notice today. I'd like to set the record straight though that googling for fixes is absolutely a core part of pretty much any job in tech.
On a slightly more serious note ref Cabd, are they this low-activity usually? I agree they haven't provided loads in terms of post analysis, but their experience in terms of setup spec has actually been useful today, which they get some NAI-but-useful-to-have-around points for
--pedit @Vasex, I'm not super experienced but I've not seen a town fakeclaim before or multiple cops. I've not played this game size before tho. My point still stands though that if you think 1 of the 2 is the cop why would you not just want to elim the one you SR more rather than talking (even hypothetically) about eliming both

because im thinking about future when they can live too long + Deathnote's "I'd vote out both cops to be honest." sounded like it is possible to elim both, so I asked about mechanics...

I agree it was in response to deathnote, but it still feels to me like something that you said to give off a vibe. I appreciate this is 100% subjective tho

I have still yet to see rebuttal to this line of thinking that would make me want to vote anywhere other than T3 rn

about cops it is mostly a joke, but it can be done with simple townie (or a cop with no shots left) and scum, i tried to realised this in my previous game here (kitty and floo - there was 1 scum definitely, I suggested to elim both and hammered firstly townie kitty; the second one was a scummy). i used to do that some times in my other games. there are a lot of situations where it can be useful, especially when nobody know the roles of dead players (such kind of rules). this is Math thinking. the most simple situation where it useful: when all roles are somehow know in the end of the game, and only two players are unknown, and the last mafia is among them. killing both = town wins. and it can be useful in some situations earlier. this is working with possibilites to make mistakes. we have about five such possibilities (depending on what kinds of roles and their moves will be in the game)
though mark can lose some town credits.
i just realised that you can try to investigate now my role, talking about other roles.

I mean I'm mortally wounded that I'm losing townpoints with the Bank of Vasex(TM) but I think I'll still manage to sleep at night

I suspect that I am in the minority in thinking T3 is the top SR here, but just have a think about the point I've reiterated over whether a fakeclaim gambit makes sense for a town cop to make to try and lim a slot when that slot was looking highly likely to get limmed 2 anyways. Draw your own conclusions.
