If you'd hammered, I would have hoped EK would have saved me. If not, we would have lost, but I figured it would be worth the risk because if you'd quickhammered without realizing we had the mayor - well, that would certainly have been enough for me save me if I were mayor, then lynch you tomorrow, equaling win.

You're almost certainly right in saying that's how it would have played out. However, TBH I didn't think about how the mayor could save a quickhammer until just before I voted myself. I was working on the reread and had the idea - so if you'd self-voted at the time that I did, and I was sure you were scum as you evidently were that I was, I would have hammered. But in any case, I'm not you and that didn't happen.

So I think the end result of all this is that we need to shut up for now and let CF and EK catch up. I'd like them to actually read everything we've said and I think the more we type, the lower chance there is that they'll do that.

I'll vote dahill or no lynch today, whatever we decide is best.

Self votes don't count in this game anyways. You're vote was doubly pointless. Had Dahill hammered I would've said good gambit, but didn't work out that way. I think I've gotten what I wanted out of today. Whenever we're ready we should go ahead with the no-lynch. I'm not in a hurry so just let it be known when you all have finished the rereading and w/e else you need to do for today. Last minute questions welcome I suppose.

Yeah, forgot about that, too. But you see what I was trying to do. Plus that would have meant we wouldn't have had to risk EK being AFK during the 48 hours or something.

I wanna see what EK comes up with before we go into night. I'm also kind of concerned that no one has proposed a reread on CF (unless I missed something) so I think I'll look into that myself.

I just did a quick reread of CF. I really can't picture him being scum unless he played the best scum game ever. The one think he said that I should point out that I disagree with is:

I think most of my reason for thinking Iceman is scum stems from my feelings on him from the beginning of the game, the shotgun blast vote, the trap, the whole confusion that he spread. Combined with the reasoning "claimed doctor should not have survived this many nights." And the fact that mafia must have a mafia RB for iceman to NOT be scum.

Can we confirm a mafia RB any other way? Shouldn't we be able to confirm the existence of a mafia RB if there really is one? Shouldn't someone else have been blocked some other night?

Also, and this may be pushing it, but the fact that he was calling his blanket vote a "shotgun blast" sounded to me like he was laying breadcrumb to claim vig at a later time. He referred to shotguns more than once during that whole debacle, and I really don't think anyone who is experienced with mafia would mention shotguns if they were not breadcrumbing vig. Because "shotgun" is such a loaded word in this game. It's too much associated with being a vig to be used casually. But then roffman claimed vig so Iceman decided not to.

Anyway, that part may be pushing things too far. I just wanted ot lay it out there, and people can try to talk me out of it. BUT, I think the fact that nobody else seems to have been blocked by a mafia RB, is a tight reason, not open to WIFOM.

Other than the shotgun thing, which is definitely a stretch, I can see where you're coming from on all your points, which I'm sure is the point of what the scum did. That's also what kind of keeps me on my toes as far as CF is concerned - like I said, if he's scum, he played the perfect game. I think a no lynch is the only thing to do here after all.

I've only breadcrumbed a couple of times and they were way more straightforward than saying "shotgun"... that's ridiculous. What role doesn't make sense? Doctor? Huh?
