That was implied by the 'ahead of Shoshin on wagon placement' versus 'on a scum lynch that Shoshin was not on'
Keeping note of auro in this -is he like this normally?- and this is rhetorical, mostly what I look for when I play. Dont answer. In post 253, Auro wrote: No - but a town reaction would be to acknowledge the new information, and attempt to re-evaluate. It would've been fine to still have an early scumread given that.
To go back to this, I don't need to. And I don't on principal, usually. I keep my cards closer to my chest, and poke and prod where I may. Im only doing it now because I think I may not be the most motivated, and since I dont have my giant wave of meta backing me I have to proofferIn post 245, Auro wrote:I've been pretty straightforward with my reads so far. Why would a readslist, which basically contains the same information, help you sort me further? In post 203, Fuscosco wrote:And auro too, since its the wagon of the week
why is it? This is a 'no u' response to something. its lightly green in a vacuum. In post 262, DoubtingThomas wrote:what's your read list, fus? it's time you share yours
ewwww. such balls. In post 391, Shoshin wrote:I think you're letting Irrel off too easy for scumreading me when he should know better. I understand why RC would get paranoid but Irrel should know that my play here wasn't anything like what he saw as scum.
This is about where I sit on these three at this post in time.In post 392, Shoshin wrote:Clemency is bad, agreed. DT, not sure. Wazoo, I got a bad vibe from initially but something he said later feels town to me.
What? how does a single vote and then a player getting irritated lessen the liklihood of SvS? Especially since they both havent explicitly went toe to toe. Their interactions seem like a sideshow. In post 455, scum reading wrote:As for his L-2 on you, despite being weird about it, he stated it would be for pressuring. I’m fine with that, I believe getting information on you early on is good, because we can confirm both you and Volxen as town or one of you as scum, etc, since you guys know each other the most. If you guys were both scum and confirming each other as town, that would be unfortunate, that’s a relative low probability as well though.
hate to say it, but I tend to townread cocky stuff like this. it obviously wasnt given much thought, because its just a what-if statement; a bunch of fantasy rolled into a fallacy and tucked under a desperate appeal for approval, but it is kind of towny in its thought. In post 465, Shoshin wrote:If RC's town, this game's solved, though. That wagon on him was terrible, especially on the part of DT, Clemency, and Fusco.
This is such a crappy thing to do. I hate it and want to policy it pretty badly. In post 489, RadiantCowbells wrote:Shoshin is scum
I have nothing further to say until I'm hammered.
agreed. In post 507, Shoshin wrote:RC's the worst possible lynch on D1 in this setup.
yes. Actually, I think im more interested in townhunting and sorting Gabzoo, given the gamestate as of the date I write this.In post 512, Shoshin wrote:I don't see him trying to solve anything.
fuck you rc.In post 548, RadiantCowbells wrote:VOTE: Shoshin
Voting you just became more meaningful than self voting congratulations
hmmmmm? In post 612, Shoshin wrote:And that awkward interaction with Clemency that felt like scum/scum.
no. This is bad for reasons laid out by Shoshin already. In post 626, RadiantCowbells wrote:Could also do demonlord

Let me guess, you rolled scum like you do in 95%+ plus of your games?
- New to site: who doesnt have an alt.
In post 376, volxen wrote: So, you took my comment about Auro rolling scum 95%+ of the time at literal face value? Come on, I didn't literally mean that he rolls scum that often... no one rolls scum that often. It's an inside joke between Auro and I
[redacted]
In any case, you are saying you also voted for Auro to see if he would react as scum or town. Do you feel you accomplished that goal?
Obviously he wouldnt be at l-1. pointing it out feels very new-ish to the game. his focus is on combing the small details instead of directly sorting. Which isn't bad, per se, but it is a symptom on being newer to the game.In post 439, volxen wrote: Why would you even talk about the fact that you are at L-1 when you are self-voting? You wouldn't be at L-1 if you weren't self-voting. And I'm not trying to get you to redact your townread, I want to understand why you are townreading him.
This genuinely smells of engaging in the game, in a way that helps town. New or not, I like it.In post 976, volxen wrote: By the way, what are your thoughts on scum reading? I disagree with RC on him being "locktown". I still think it was shady how he followed me onto your wagon just because I said "Auro rolls scum 95%+ of the time", and I find his reasoning that he wanted to "pressure" you suspect.
This too. And again, Im pointing out his newishness, because framing his motivations is as or more important than his content. I firmly believe, as a tangent, that the reasons for doing something tell us a lot more than the content or context in which it occurs. In post 1354, volxen wrote: I thought the way you jumped on me and started pushing me for making comments like "Auro rolls scum 95%+ of the time" and "I've been wanting to play with town!RC for months" was suspect, especially how you kept double downing on this push even as Auro repeatedly told you that I've made posts like that as town before. I'm not suggesting you should have been townreading me over those posts, but I do have my doubts that town!you would feel that strongly that those posts were scum-indicative. I'm scumreading you at the moment.
That being said, I think the way Fuscosco followed you onto my wagon was even worse than your initial push on me.
Can you explain why Auro is your top townread?
This means that we could end up with only half our usual lynches. On even-numbered Days, a nomination mechanic applies to the lynch. At the start of the Day, the mafia secretly select three players of their choice (which can be of any alignment, Town or Mafia) to be available to be lynched
