Got BlackICE which allowed me to target someone and anyone targeting them with any software (it was specific) would get the shaft - no vote, trust tokens or be allowed on the mission.

See, this is why i asked spyrex the question.
I got black ice too, last night (so i haven't gotten the chance to use it yet).
My immediate thought upon seeing it was 'hm, use this on someone that scum will target, ask anyone voteless to claim tomorrow, and hope that they screw up.' Then i see syprex claiming the exact same thing, except he said that he had targeted BB... which essentially

destroys any informational gain that the ability could have created.

Any scum who didn't want to claim targeting bb last night can just BS something now because they know that they have to.

Well the guy I've had as a strong townread on all game being scum would certainly explain me being confused, and I do admit some vulnerability to buddying, but yeah I'm still good with losing to Mattscum if such a thing exists.

I will be V/LA from tomorrow until Wednesday. Going to New York. I will still have access (i think) and will still be able to post, but i might not really be in the mood to so i probably won't be posting particularly enthusiastically.

Any thoughts on whether/how i should use the black ice that i got last night? Like other powers, there's going to be some kind of consequence if i don't use it, but i'm not sure how best to use it.

I'm a revolutionary too. I used WhiteICE on Kuribo last night, which means he won't be affected by any other software for one day and night phase and the Connection Failure on Implosion night one which I'm still confused as to what it did.

It seemed like most software people were getting was positive so I assumed if spyrex received anything it would help him. So I essentially tried sabotaging that.

There was that business where Spyrex felt let down after I claimed, and there's his reaction to being run up, but he has made NO EFFORT to help me or anybody else read him as town. You don't even have to explain why you're not scum just SAY WHO IS. GIVE A STRONG READ ON SOMETHING. ANYTHING. WITH REASONABLE SUPPORT.
I absolutely hate losing and I feel like that's going to happen this game and I'll drop to 20-9 after being 20-5 a couple months ago. Blargh.

Yeah I know.
The claiming wasn't that helpful except it made me a little bit less confused.
I still feel dumb lynching somebody who was on multiple successful missions / not lynching Kanye / leaving CES alive a long time.
