Is anyone arguing that Paranoid did a remotely pro-town thing with his hammer yesterday?
Also, could you clarify what point you think Generic Purple is making that you find questionable. I am really on their side in this current debate, and I'm on their side to such a huge degree that it means either you are talking total nonsense or I am too silly to understand what point you're actually making.- Si and Am

They think that my comments on wanting to drop our vote on Nacho to give him a chance to speak and prevent a derp hammer silencing him shows us as scum. It does not it shows my continual belief in giving a lynchee a chance to speak something I believe deeply in no matter what I think the lynchee is. Something that is important enough to me for me to put in my IC blurb.
It is so flimsy that paper is stronger than it and is a great way of obfuscating things to cover up that they are scum.
Si thinks so and so do I.

Reasons why I moved it was because:
There was obv no chance at getting you lynched. No one was really wanting to lynch you and it was being drowned out due to Mollie screaming her read off at Nacho being scum. I sheeped Mollie because I know she can read Nacho and because I just wanted her to bloody shut the fuck up. She was tunneling and there was no way to get her out of the tunnel so basically no matter how MUCH I pushed your slot it was going to go on death ears because mollie was 1v1ing with Nacho-slot.
Please do not confuse my posts with the other head's posts. She doesn't like the QL's and votes without intent to hamemer because it hurts town more than it helps. (Hint: Look at what happened when PFR hammered w/o a claim.)

No, no, tis you that missed my point.
I will run it again for you, since you haven't caught on. My issue isn't with your philosophy. It's with the lengths you went to to prove this is your meta and berating people for not being able to save someone from a fast hammer reeks of scum.
You also made a big deal about how strong your scum read was on us to the point you wouldn't move the vote, yet on a whim an hour later it moves anyway and then you bemoan that lynch going through without claim? Don't vote so easily then.
And to the main point, YOU ARE STILL TALKING TO US LIKE YOU WSNT OUR OPINION TO CHANGE... Meaning you know we are town. Your attitude and tone in arguing with us doesn't in any way reflect a person scum reading us, yet we are apparently your main suspect.
And mara can deal with the rest, I'm focusing on you until one of us is dead. See I wrote this game off from my stats the moment two players were mod killed, crippling my chances of winning this. So you get me not giving a shit now, and just wanting to see you lynched.- Generically Purple

If this is scum-Rach, she's playing a completely different scum game than I've ever seen her play solo or in hydra. She's not a high volume poster, but she's working to contribute content here when she does post, and she's engaging in the thread.
Only seen scum-Mala in hydra form, but this doesn't feel like her recent scum hydra games either; too comfortable. I'd like her to follow up on her wanting to talk to me, but I'll trust that that will come without my having to go all paranoid on her.
How dissonant relative to some of the other hydras do you really think Mala-Rach are? Descending to the point of griping about hydra style looks rather fluffy. In post 1482, Generically Purple wrote:I see you are now going to use hydra different thinking to mask the inconsistencies. Mala, is this scum-Tammy? I'm getting a better vibe than D1, but it's also less noisy overall.
As far as the remaining Faith Healer claiming (which is what mass claim comes down to) I think we need the discussion time for the early part of today at least, given that we've lost a day/night phase's worth of leeway to modkills. I also think that the Faith Healer should be the one to decide about claiming--if they think they're being town-read enough in the latter part of the day phase to win out against any potential counterclaims if we end up at LyLo, they should stay quiet; if they think they look scummy, then they should claim to give us time to deal with it.
I'm willing to see where the Generically Purple wagon goes, but I'm not convinced myself. Mhork feels differently though.
RBD reads town, as does Squirrel Girl, although I'd like to see more from the former.
Why do you talk like we have no chance of lynching scum today? In post 1435, Paranoia Fueled Rampage wrote:OK so the FH stops the kill... we're in MYLO. What next?

I aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghree with PFR about claims, I'd prefer it happens today because I don't want to give scum a chance to decide whether they're going to have someone counter-claim and I don't want it to happen at LyLo for this reason. Faith Healer isn't a particular strong role, anyway. I see me other half has already chipped in on this but whatever.
Your read here be really messed up. The wench wasn't emotional because of her bad play, she was (probably pretending to be) emotional because she didn't want to be lynched. And me thinks this be more because it's what expected of her as town than a real emotional reaction. It is insanely easy to fake stuff like that (especially if ye know it wasn't actually the hammer) and nothing else she be doing looks townmhork wrote:Also I like Athena. Far less strong than PFR, but the crying/emotion/etc looks a lot like town really frustrated that her play is awful this game. I feel like scum would prolly be less openly insane about how emotional a game is making them.

It seems backwards for me to have to prove the lack of scum actions. I suppose my answer is, sadly, 'gut'. Pretty much its his willing admissions of lack of reading paired with acting aggressive and jokey at the same time. For him to be scum I feel he'd have to be intentionally trying to play up an odd persona and to combine that with thinking it wouldn't get him in trouble. Meanwhile, it has got him in trouble and yet the playstyle hasn't shifted at all. Feels town.In post 1487, Rancid Broderick Drake wrote:

I mean, you HAVE heard my stance on AtE vs emotion, havn't you? on it's own, the admitting to have cried, is null but considering the other factors such as who tammy is, how she was wagoned, why she was wagoned, who wagoned her, the things that she constantly brags about each game (and is, thus super prideful about) ect are all factors in why it was a town-tell and not a scum-tell. the list could go on forever, and ever, and ever
and then, back to SiAm, I don't think she's town, and I stated that town is giving scum the win, before I had placed a vote anyway. I've pushed her since D1 and her claim that no one was going to go after me, that day is complete bullshit. Mollie? She was to busy tunneling Nacho
SG? She was (and is) lost as all fuck in this game, and she still hasn't come back
and not only have I made a case, she has never responded to it. INSTEAD she uses AtE. Actual AtE while calling us scum, which makes very little sense to do if she actually thinks that I am scum.
as for knowing who she is, and what I expect her to know RE me...
if you can tell me that, when I play you would consider me nice, friendly, non-gambity, non-aggressive, and non-pushy when I have a scum-read on someone, if you can say that when I have a scum-read on someone, I won't pursue it if it's weak then I'll give her a pass for thinking those things as well. She knows me better than you, she's played with me more, and hydra'd with me (but that isn't even what I'm scum-reading her for, anyway) - Generically Purple
