You have avoided engaging with him before the pairing and... I scumread you and townread him, so, it should be pretty natural that I think you want to keep him in your pocket.

this game has meant only pent up frustration for me since maria accepting dunn's invitation and it's only been getting worse
i'd replace out but a: i find the game exciting and b: i'm going to relieve the frustration as soon as the nooses come out so
if fire is genuinely offended by all means i'll leave it pent up and not say anything

It's not like I am not having fun, trust me I am.
I just see player after player either insult my style and write me off completely as useless or annoying or just flat out insult me.
So that annoys me but like I am not going to go out of my way to change people's opinions by playing how they want. That makes me unhappy.
If I have to choose taking the game super serious game where I am out to only win or light hearted game where goal is fun.
I am going to pick second every time now.
