I don't think that's a path to victory for any scumteam though. At some point the town's going to get fed up with the barnacles and start scraping them off. Theoretically anyway.

My desire to see Zoraster dead is far less being actively useless and much more because he point blank refused to defend his position on implosion with the most bullshit reasoning I think I've ever read on here, and may I remind you I've played multiple games with Mastina. The concept of bringing "good faith" into a Mafia game is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'd love to let him decorate the rafters with a little sign reading "good faith" in gold script and festooned with ribbons and bows but apparently fruit vendors are now sacred or something.

I don't agree. Player's are going to play to the best of their abilities regardless of who is on their team. I don't think scum!zor is going to look at scum!elsa and go "well, Elsa is choosing this route, so I can't choose it".

I think it's much simpler. Both are playing to their abilities as scum. In Zor's case, he is trying to avoid taking hard stances on his reads and trying to avoid making any associations at all...because that is probably how he plays scum.

I think Elsa is trying to occupy the "is so useless can't be scum" space, because that's how he plays as scum.

In a world where both of these players are teammates, I don't think either would make fundamental adjustments to the way they play.

Also my scumreads on both players are not dependent on each other. I've even softened on Zor late in the day because I've felt he has deviated his tactics in a way I wasn't expecting.

To clarify that first paragraph, I mean I agree with you generally in why I think Zor is scum. I don't agree with the premise that I think you were trying to put forward in comparing Zor to Elsa.

I don't know how I can impress this on people further though: stop trying to find new lynches. You'll just let new claims and while that might clarify things on day 1, it'll hurt the hell out of us in future days We HAVE a safe "VT" Lynch and unless you have some game confirmed way of knowing he's town, he should be the Lynch. Zito, you can join me on Elsa, or we can work on reforming the Zor lynch. I'm not lynching Maria. I'm only voting implosion if I have to hammer with less than 12 hours to go. His wagon composition has my two highest scumreads on it, and at least one of my pet scum leans.

The pro-town argument is to find a scum lynch. I don't care how many people have to be run up to do it.

Zor is presenting a false choice here by the way. "You're either in favor of running up 4 or more players or you're not" is not a town argument.

I'm only on Maria cuz she's the least bad option I see atm and I have 0 trust in this town to do anything significant before deadline. If we can reform the Zor lynch I'm all over that like edge of extinction castaways on a ham sandwich.
