These are the only two scum games I've played in the past like 3-4 years. The first one ended not very long ago and is a bit more standard than the second.

there's no reason scum fights that hard to get onto a failed coalition.
I actually think it's more likely scum do what you and wug do - which is just chill and not really care about being on or not because your partner is already on it.

You guys were right about me opportunistically jumping on koba. It was mostly out of frustration. The replacement is having a positive effect on the game imo.
@Pooky I like your line of thinking regarding scum laying relatively low because they didn't need to fight to get 1 into the co. But I still think we should ex within the co first. Who would you ex if you had to pick someone within the coalition?
I think clover fits the bill for a scum that quietly accepted their place in the coalition. I'm hoping the wagon that formed on koba's slot was just out of frustration.

r u serious, you barely even participating in this game
my initial read on DC was always that he was town cuz he felt really excited to solve this game and get a coalition through that would win the game.
Like you re-read his first 20 posts - it's all about how he's gotten pretty good at reading this game - he "solved" 2 of the previous games or whatever correctly and he's gonna solve this game and everyone just sheep him and he put together a winning coalition and if it fails then he gets lynched.
This all felt super genuine and I think he was super pumped and that's why I had him as locked in on my orig coalition - then he basically kinda faded out after Koba spammed their way into the game and took control and things got crazy.
So I understand his emotion trying to fight his way on near the end and then the violent reaction towards the coalition failing.
All of this feels super-townie to me and I just can't see him acting all this shit out if he's scum with a buddy already on coalition.

I think Clover's a good spot to start if we're lynching on coalition.

I don't think it's particularly valid to townread me simply based on depth of content in my catch-up, no.
Thr main difference I've noticed in my recent town game compared to my recent scum game is that when I'm scum, I have a fairly strong agenda in whatever I'm doing that helps the team out in some way. (In the first game a lot of my actions were specifically geared towards ensuring Gypyx could make it to LyLo with a bunch of other potential partners to me; in the second game it was similar, I wanted to look like an unlikely partner to Cat Scratch Fever.) Whereas when I'm town, the motives I have aren't as clearly in line with a scum wincon.
Something I found when playing my last game is that I put myself into a more confident mindset as scum. As town I lack a lot of confidence (at least internally) and only really push for the things I feel very strongly about (see Clover-town here; I probably wouldn't lose much sleep over other wagons on the coalition, though I would place bets on Kobaslot flipping scum at this point). It's a lot easier to push the gamestate around as scum.
I'm also feeling particularly unmotivated when it comes to posting in this game and I imagine that wouldn't currently be the case if I were scum in this position.
