If there were a real cop: they claim when they have results, and their claim doesn’t match yours, so they look more credible when you reveal that it was a ruse. It makes you look suspicious, but maybe you think that backing up a cop is worth it?

If there’s not a real cop: well… you needed an exit strategy.

I think there's a lot of fun design to be done without deliberately deceiving the players, considering this is the queue to which people come to avoid curveballs.

That's definitely a possibility. Thinking on it, it just means T3 is the confirmed townie at Day 4 ELo instead of Ranny. I might've even successfully shot DGB too, since I apparently softed Cop Day 2 which probably doesn't then happen and I'm less likely to get RB'd. Kinda wish I hadn't gotten JOAT lol, someone with more experience probably would've used it better, but it was still a good learning experience regardless.

Experience is a double edged sword. A blank slate can read things others can't. You aimed a shot at a slot that should never live until elo. It did and town lost. Clearing Ranny was smart but town rarely listen to the dead.

I thought this post was the end for me because it looks like a scumslip. It looks like I have knowledge that cw is scum, which implies I’m on the team with him. I’m glad I was calm enough not to say anything, and it was a relief when cw flipped town.
