Yes, think I'm newbtown, that's good
Son, it's not enough for you to just give your "reasons" for voting. Anyone can do that, and if you think what you're doing now qualifies as scumhunting then you're sorely mistaken.

You have to demonstrate why I have scum motives and why I don't have town motives.

Why is "Calling people out without reason", as you put it, something scum would do? Why
isn't
it something town would do?

What you're doing is just skimming off the top, looking at only the most shallow and superficial level of what's going on.

You don't have a very good understanding of what makes something scummy. While I'll do my best to help you for the sake of this game, this is a problem you'll ultimately have to work through yourself.
There's a difference between wagon-hopping and jumping on every damn wagon which is around using other people's reasoning. Wagon-hopping is an easy way for scum to masquerade as town ("look, I'm voting everyone for pressure, I'm town!") It's not a singularly town motive. You never explain why was TIP's content town as opposed to him playing dumb either.

and guess what? I don't particularly feel like being patronised by you. I don't really know why you bothered putting it in (to make me think you're a good player and show deference?) but honestly I don't think I need your "best of help" and if you worked on posting less of this nonsense:

Attention of the suspect was placed on figuring out who to lynch as opposed to a wagon whose basis the suspect found spurious.

But really, it's the culmination of a style of reaction to pressure that is not at all aberrant.
and showing off your vocabulary we'd get places faster. You intentionally flaunted it there for no reason. Be concise. See, now I'm helping you! Ultimately though, you'll have to work through it.

You're the one saying I'm scum, so it's incumbent upon you to fucking
demonstrate
why I'm scum.

I'm not explaining shit to you until you actually produce something resembling scumhunting.

"Explain why what you're doing is town, because from my scum POV I'm having trouble understanding the town mindset in this circumstance"

I mean really.

I’m also concerned about your lack of interest in scum. Flavor should be something that adds to the enjoyment not something that negates the importance of scum hunting.
Why does the incongruity itself make him scum though?

The last part is a rehashed line that more often than not is not actual mafia but layz town.

Well in this case, it sure is. As you're demonstrating so eloquently, scum have a hard time putting themselves into the town mindset.

The incongruity makes me believe he is lying. I think lying about an interest in discovering the flavor is more likely to come from scum.

In fact I think he told us what the scum flavor is.

Could be. Not sure why there's more than a passing interest in what the scum flavour is, though. Unless there's a rolecop it's irrelevant due to the (easy-mode) habit of moderators on this site whereby they give bulletproof fakeclaims.

Rather than speculate about what the scum flavour is, let's talk about Roflcopter and IrishPope.

I trust rofl's judgment usually but again he's not justified his vote so I feel no need to address him.
I've said already TiP's scum game is to act foolish and he tried in the early game to do this. It didn't work and so he changed. He's on the scum side of null.

PEdit: Metal Sonic looks shit for making flavour comments and no scumhunting at all. There's no point speculating d1 when we haven't even seen the amount of kills. :|

No, I said that he didn't justify it so really I can't know. I'm saying he's a strong town player and he co-orchestrated a Village win I had so I respect his ability.

If you believe town has the burden to prove their innocence what should I make of your decision to withhold your reads until some pressure was taken off of you? If definitely did not appear that you felt it was incumbent upon you to show yourself as town..

My bad. Well, I admit I used the wrong word. I will be more careful with what I say.
No no no, you misrep me, good sir. I am not withholding reads because I have votes on me. I withhold reads because scum will see me as lynch bait because of it.

To be fair, you throwing down the gauntlet and demanding that Zoidberg show you he's town, means that you're going to try and take any little thing that you feel he isn't doing pro-town and try to blow it up as scummy (in my opinion).
TheIrishPope wrote:I am not withholding reads because I have votes on me. I withhold reads because scum will see me as lynch bait because of it.
How will scum see you as lynch bait? You with-holding information doesn't help anyone. If you have information, put it on the table so we can read it over. You said it yourself:
