I'll give you that. What I meant was that 99% of games where you don't know in advance that there'll be significant changes that require radically different courses of action, there won't be.chaotic_diablo wrote:In fact, your 99% is far too extreme. If you take into acccount the many theme games that advocate new set-ups and ideas, thinking out of the box is required.
Well, I usually prefer explaining why the reasons people are voting me for are wrong, but since one of them hasn't posted in the month of May and one of them switches reasons as soon as I knock one down, (And I've already explained why I've done what one might call backtracking) it seems like there's not much more to do in that regard.
I'm a Netherworld Informant, a cop. No useful result, since I investigated Twomz. (And got innocent, so at least I'm not insane/paranoid)

N_lich doesnt appear to be posting so I will be looking for a replacement for him. I will post the day results after 12:00 on Sunday(GMT).
I know that Lloyd will be away so if you will be away during the night please start sending your night choices now. I will begin day 2 once a replacement for N_lich is found.

Norinel: Why did you wait until now to roleclaim if you've been extremely close to being lynched for a while now?
Spamwise: Why did you unvote c_d? "I'm really bad at this game somtimes <sic>." isn't a good explanation.
Also, when is the deadline? Is it noon, GMT, tomorrow? Can we get a votecount?

Wonderful. I'd rather lynch c_d than a claimed cop at this point, but if I were to vote for c_d then it would be a tie and I still have no concrete idea when the deadline is (I assume noon, GMT on Sunday (tomorrow)?) so I can't be completely certain that someone would break it.

True, but you can't be too sure if everything is all black and white. For instance, Rebellion mafia. Supposively scum were supposed to be the rebels. As it turned out, it was actually the king, so everyone thought they were scum. Interesting turnout. Too bad the game was abondoned.norinel wrote:I'll give you that. Hmmm, I'm not sure about this claim. It is convienient that you happened to investigate someone who died so you are able to give a result. I'm not suspicious enough to vote you and your play today has not been suspicious to me but its all very convienient.Norinel wrote:I'm a Netherworld Informant, a cop. In case of doubt: I'm not able to counterclaim and I don't think it would be wise for anyone else to do so either.
Sorry stikey, but I'd prefer to lynch you. How can you so freely contemplate shifting your vote to someone who may well be pro-town and to my recollection have never shown any suspicion of.stikey wrote:Wonderful. It looks like your looking more for a reason to lynch. You have had no previous problems with me in the past, and all of a sudden your jumping on me for illogical reasons.stikey wrote:Okay, now that c_d took his vote off of Norinel, we have a tie, which I can only assume will result in a no-lynch. I'm always supicious of people who set up a tie situation, so I willVote: chaotic_diabloto break the tie.

I don't at all think it's illogical. I believe that a no-lynch is the least desirable outcome for the town at this point in the game, and I placed my vote to directly avoid a no-lynch. Moreover, I switched my vote to someone who unvoted with absolutely no explanation to create the tie.

It's illogical because your stating that you don't really care who you lynch just as long as we get the lynch. The part where you claim that your acting in behalf of town by shifting the balance of votes seems pretty suspicious to me. In addition, it's really quite apparent why I unvoted, which makes me believe your BSing.stikey wrote:I don't at all think it's illogical. Jesus Christ you guys are hard to get a read on. From my perspective you flip-flop from scum to town in the space of two posts.
I'm guessing MoS voted for C_D so we'd have two competing bandwagons. Or he knows something about Stikey we don't.
On Norinel's claim: Netherworld Informant? Now I know this isn't strictly LoTR Mafia, but I was expecting something like an Uruk-Hai to be the cop. Still, it's not disputed, and there's no point in lynching a cop Day 1. Plus I'm not an expect on Middle Earth either.
I like the look of lynching Stikey, that was a pretty big screw-up.

Final votecount
Norinel(2):N_lich, Lloyd
Lloyd(1):starkmoon
stikey(3):evilandy, chaotic_diablo, SpamWise
It appears that chaotic_diablo was lynched. I just want someone to confirm my votecount by PM before I make a lynch scene. I do not want to lynch the wrong person in this situation. Nobody post anymore in this thread now. I will find a replacement for N_lich during the night. Day should begin on Thursday or once the replacement confirms and sends in any Night Choices he might have to make.

There dont appear to be any errors in my count so......
The Orcs in the Town soon start discussing things. Rebellious thoughts go around but the townspeople are soon beaten into submission by the Commander. Norinel appears suspicious in their eyes for his part of the matter. But after the Commander issues his Deadline then the townspeople quickly choose chaotic_diablo to be the victim despite a late attempt at stikey. The Commander waits as the Town brings up chaotic_diablo and then he executes chaotic_diablo personally with his own spear.

Lloyd left the town after the lynch of chaotic_diablo for he was trying to get back to his home in Durotar, for he was a Orcish Peon from Warcraft, as well as being a Soldier. He was trying to find his way home when all the sudden an arrow came out of nowhere. More arrows flew at him and he eventually succumbed to his injuries. His last words. "Stop Poking Me".
It is now day 2, 8 alive, 5 to lynch.
Lloyd was an Orcish Soldier/townie and he was killed with an arrow on night 2.

I've played the bulk of my online mafia games on another site. All of the games there are firmly deadlined from the beginning of each day, and one of the most telling scum maneuvers is to tie the vote shortly before the deadline, thereby increasing the chances of a no-lynch. That's just what C_D did. In hindsight, was it a dumb idea to vote for C_D? It certainly wasn't the optimal outcome we could have had, but it was better than lynching Norinel, if he's telling the truth about being the cop.
Speaking of which... Whom did you investigate last night, Norinel? What was your result?
