Wagon analysis is good but not at higher KPN. Plus, it requires us to submit a choice. Why can't that choice be "no bane"?

Mod: If we submit no bane as our choice would we still be eligible to get a boon or do we have to bane someone?

I never considered the boon as it is a future promise of something for antitown action now.

The annoying thing about protection in this set-up is that you have no idea whether you actually stopped someone from being killed or not. It could have been some sort of roleblock, or the scum not knowing how to tell the difference between candle and stone or some other weird complicated theme thing. The great thing about choice 1 though, is that the successfully protected person is informed of the fact that they were successfully protected! Now the first thought from this is that scum can just claim to have been successfully protected ----> TOTES CONFTOWN, but this carries a great degree of risk for scum, because you know, someone actually needs to have protected you for you to have been successfully protected. I'm pretty sure there's quite a low chance that scum making up the fact that they'd been protected would have happened to be protected that night, so chances are scum are going to be all cowardly and cautious and not make up anything. But this means that town who have actually been successfully protected can claim so, and thus be pretty certainly town, especially since there'll be someone alive who in fact did protect them, which sort of helps matters.

Without Choice 1, we'll have no idea what even happened at night due to the complicated nature of the theme.

When I look at Choice 2 I just find it incredibly underwhelming. I mean, sure, if scum try to kill this protected person with two people it makes a difference, but I figure that if scum are desperate enough to have someone dead that they'd kill them twice, choice 2 will just mean they'll kill them three times. So, the difference doesn't seem that great to me?

As I said though, this is only my opinion and I very well could be missing some disadvantage to choice 1 or some benefit to choice 2. If such things exist, don't hold back!

Hi every1 i was totally into posting like 7 hours abgo and then i couldn't and it was sad. Tokens basically turn all of Team Mafia into a CYS game so yeah. Like how I spent 5 tokens to be town! Choice is obvious imo the only reason to submit two unmakes on one person is to pick different signs.

Re: Titus, I don't know any of her team members other then ABR. Titus which ones are giving you town tips? I'm pretty sure I read in a place that ABR prefers scum.

You have to Bane a player in the game to get a Boon.

Bane and Boons are majority lynches, while Choices are plurality lynches. Thus, you may vote No Bane or No Boon but not No Choice. If a majority of players vote No Bane, the Choice is chosen by plurality if a majority hasn't been reached already and the Day ends with no Boon vote. If a majority of players vote No Boon, the day ends.

Also, I suppose I haven't given my plurality tiebreaker - seniority of the latest vote.

@Shadoweh, All my teammates prefer town, particularly ABR. ABR and I have a history of scumreading each other as town. Given I respect him as a player, teamming up made logical sense as I could tell him what I found scummy about his townplay. Plus, I was invited and I am a very pride motivated. I am the closest player to any who would prefer scum in this setting. Given how townsided most of the open setups can be, I bet practically no one preferred scum.

Also, I disagree with your post about unmaking the same person twice Shadoweh. Explaining why you are wrong would be anti town however.
