Hey dudes!
This pings me, in more than one way. The plural form of "player" implies you suspect more players than Norska, which leads me to believe you suspect zaragui and nalsco, since they're both "inactive". I'm finding some correlation between people who vote inactives -- scum, especially in RtR games, giving some illusion of scumhunting or voting their scumpartner for an "inactive" vote as a means of distancing. You also give a legitimate reason (other than "inactive"/active lurking) in
106. Are you voting Norska for being "inactive" or for 106's reason? Both? The "sorry for fluff" in
26 pings me as well as some awareness that such behavior is scummy.
I'm in PST regarding timezones btw. Morning.

How are we supposed to know what to take seriously and what not to? Should I take every scummy thing you say as a 'poorly thought out joke'?
WeCanSimplyBeOurselves wrote:I think you're perhaps both town. Just different playstyles. That's my gut. Scum like to watch town at each other's throats.
If Charloux and at least three other people have clashing playstyles, what exactly is Charloux's playstyle? Also, now that we see the two inactives indeed had no idea this game was happening, what do you think about your scum lurker theory? Are you rethinking "scum watching town at each other's throats.", or do you still think some of the less frequent posters are our scum?

Also, tfw you try to make a "posts that ping me" post but it ends up looking like you're derptunnelling someone...
Also @Char: We're beyond RvS, jokes make you look worse.

I said we need to pressure the more inactive players not the completely inactive players. We need to pressure people who are likely to be actively lurking. Accountant asked me why I wasn't voting for one of the more active players then but I already was and still am.

@Misa: I don't really care what you think of jokes. I'm doing it for me so i can keep my mental state in check. Sounds weird right?
Oh yeah, welcome!

Who do you think was actively lurking at that point?

Alright, I'm out from under my rock of shame. Sorry for my poor performance. Looking back, I went from having very little attention on me to being one of the top scumreads. Then I went AWOL which definitely didn't help my case. Just playing like an absolute donkey.
Still got a strong scumread on Char. I'm confident that Accountant is town, and Trans is my second strongest town read. Slight scumread on WCSBO. Null on everyone else.

Not sure but Norska is a possibility. I was already voting for them before Accountant told me to vote for someone more inactive if I think they need to be pressured. My response was "I already am".

Just Norska? @WCSBO
Also I think it's important to say that I null-to-slight townread Norska, but pretty much only because of
157 and
99, which seem genuine imo.
Norska, what do you think of WCSBO?

Going over his ISO, I'm actually pretty neutral on him. Only thing that stands out for me is him pressuring inactives, which could be an attempt to shift focus away from Charloux.

I agree with 157 but 99 was actually one of the posts that pinged me in my quick read.
I agree that pressuring inactive players isnt good but for a diffferent reason.

What reason is that?

I said more inactive players, not completely inactive players. Norska seemed the only person who was rather inactive but not completely active. Which could have been lurking.
I think both Char and Accountant are town. Norska is either null or a little scummy. Rest completely null. This is all by my gut.

1) activity isnt really alignmetn indicative. Not everyone has the time to post a lot. And some ppl just like to play passive
2) scum arent the only ones that want to avoid attention

Alright Manuel
Let's be power town again
However, this time, let's win.

Charloux, let's take a break from whatever it is you're doing and pretend you're the towniest town that ever was.
Everyone is extremely interested in hearing your opinion on the state of the game.
@Charloux, what do you think about your fellow players?
A readslist would suffice, but you can be as detailed or as undetailed as you like.

Okay guys time for a reads list from me, I post them fairly frequently, They help me out quite a bit to organize my thoughts. The higher tier a player is in, the more likely I think they are to be town.
RN I'ma rock n roll with something like this:
{thatsit}
{Accountant, Morning Tweet, Manuel87}
{MisaTange}
{NorskaBlue, WeCantBeOurselves}
{Charloux}

What concerns me about Charloux's joking isn't that he's joking or being off-topic, but that he's not contributing any content other than joking. Either he intends to slack off the entire game or he genuinely has no ideas to present to us.

For the record, I'm considering Charloux's refusal to answer my questions about his inconsistent behavior in #134 to be an admission of guilt.

Yes I'm aware that the inactive players may not even be aware this game is a thing right now. Yes tunnelling inactives is a bad idea if they're not aware it's a thing and they're going to get replaced.
You are assuming, however, that they're not lurking intentionally. Pressure voting the less active players so they actually post so we can read them is a good way for town to defend itself against scum lurkers.
You say you want to apply pressure against the active lurkers, but other than generic calls to lynch the lurkers and planting your vote on Norska you haven't actually pushed any wagons or done anything to get people on board and exert more pressure. Are you just applying pressure for the sake of wanting to apply pressure, or do you actually care about making them feel fear?
