The optimal plan is not for 1 gentleman to die.... it's for... let's see 14-3, minus a kill which will happen on two townies so 12-3....

5 people should die. Maaaaaaaaaaybe 7? No, 5 seems safer.

I have scumleans on penguin and maria but they're both on the girls side unfortunately.

For those who don't understand, scorched earth works like this.

At the end of the pre-dance phase, anyone without a partner will certainly die. Which means we get to control the size of this game by killing people immediately.

Here are the goals of Scorched Earth

1) To lower the player total below or equal to 12, as it will trigger the intermission, and force scum to kill SUPER early.
2) To pair Hebi with someone super scummy. This way, it increases the likelyhood Hebi LIVES through that kill.
3) To kill a shit ton of people and generate reads through this, instead of making pre-dance kind of useless.

LLD i think it's a grand idea and all but it'll never work because trying to herd that many cats is impossible.



As for the mechanic... The wife and I signed up (breaking our "no playing with each other" personally-set rule) because of the mechanic. If she decides she's really interested in shopping around so be it; but I'm not doing diddly until that case. Some thing just aren't worth it. I don't have any particular issue with locking horns with somebody else if that's the case, though.
