I kinda felt a tone difference too but so far I've only read like some early pages of some of his town games
Like I'm wondering if it's actually scum-indicative or just indicative of being pressured by a flashwagon
I know for example that if I got flashwagoned I would feel super nervous and probably post differently as either alignment

Okay I guess I see why this is true now. I was thinking about the odds of vig killing scum being pretty bad and not thinking so much about a docced shot (with no JK action) being a 90% guilty result which is still super good
I'm still not convinced telegraphing vig y/n is good because of what pin said. I feel like a vig "guilty" is worth sharing with town (avoids bad interaction with JK, avoids the guilty result being lost if vig is shot, and we can just lynch the guilty instead of vig trying to shoot into a doc save for another few nights which scum most likely will do). So the only actual X disasters are if vig shoots with scum / scum don't shoot (vig outs to correct X at the very worst*), or if scum both shoot vig and block the vig shot in the same night, which are both pretty low probability?
*Barring some fake claim scenario which seems low expected impact to me

Oi NSG, we can talk in real time or I can just tell you why you're wrong
Hey, it's not my fault he asked a dumb question.
I don't feel like explaining tone-reads at this point of the game anyway - it often leads to players changing their posting.
Whether it's unknowingly or with a purpose, I want to observe first what happens with it.
I'm just jotting these down as I stumble along the sensations.
That is how I play.

It wasn't a dumb question. You just decided to give a dumb answer. All you had to say was that you didn't want to explain it yet

Oh c'mon.
Can't we just agree it was at least a bit silly of a question?

It was only 10% silly

pintu is a slow burn kinda player.
have no strong feelings on either of them yet. I don't mind your take on their setup spec emphasis but they're both gonna be more sortable later in the phase
Noted.
I’m perennially suspicious of PR-discussion-time. But we’re still early so I’m willing to wait before leaning heavily into that.
In the mean time I’m going to try and elicit some reads.

That SS post made me laugh way more than it should have.

@Zoronos I thought you were being a tryhard, but I think we have diametrically opposed early playstyles and that's it. I fluff a lot early game and when I saw you were trying to get out of RVS so early pinged me a lot, but you've been consistent so that must be a playstyle preference that I don't share.
My townreads are better than my scumreads, especially this early. I tend to exaggerate my scumreads, like really dramatic and tinfoily scumreads, but my townreads are good. ruru and NSG are town, I'm trying to sort the rest of the players I've played with before (including the two gals, Mathdino, HWS, ofrhz, the worst and jjh. Maybe HitAlt? I don't know who he is)

I am inclined to agree with your ruru-town-lean-read, for reasons I talked about prior.
Talk to me about that NSG read. I feel like my read so far on that slot is low fidelity, so I'm curious what you're seeing / why you're coming to that conclusion.
(I am certainly a try hard. I suck at RVS so the sooner I can murder it the happier I am)

Her case on jjh is on point, making such a strong scumread this early is something I don't expect coming from scum
