I asked her experience since I've seen newer players be more passive in gameplay before, or at least a mentality, which is also common in players generally at gamestart.

She's new, so I don't think her posts are agenda-based, if she were scum, I'd also think she may be more avoidant of a direct player as yours truly.

The people I'm more suspicious of right now are
Upon asking for her vote, she diverts the attention toward someone on the same wagon.
She has not been present much beyond just suspecting a wagoned player, it's hard to find nuance off of her current posts.
and
He was the most recent on wagon but hasn't even followed-through with the reasoning of his vote.
Kind of just dismissed the votes on him.

Even then, these aren't notable scumreads at the moment. Also are all different shades of as I don't know of anything memorable they've or done so far. I doubt this is an all town group.

I have 2, maybe 3 solid townreads right now, and if they're all town, this game becomes much easier. Since this game has begun slowly, it's harder to parse what lack of activity or contribution is town or scum motivated... so I'm trying to avoid the trap of townreading whoever engages with me.

This resonates with me, and I am willing to give Y'shtola Rhul more time and space, as pressure may make her feel uneasy as a new player. Your vibrations are soothing.

Hi, eyestott! I would love to get your thoughts on Y'shtola Rhul. She seemed to vote for Fuzzy with little thought, and has not provided much independent opinions of her own. When I asked her for her read and reasoning on Aloratom, I wasn't very satisfied with her response, as it lacked specifics and I couldn't really understand what she meant.

Looking at the completed game, Yshtola played a Mason in a nightless setup with no daytalk, so essentially an inno who knows that some other people are inno. This lack of scum experience could potentially lead to her making rather rookie mistakes, so I won't be ruling out scumtells on the basis of it being an easy mistake to avoid.

Doesn't particularly indicate towniness or scumminess, though I feel like a first-time scum would definitely be a bit keen to get their violence started.

seems to indicate a lack of experience more than a specific alignment, I feel.
However, her posts replying to Paragon about Aloratom (#123 and #131) are a bit of a red flag to me:

While the chance of Yshtola and Aloratom both being scum is statistically quite low, I believe that this is the exact way that someone like Yshtola would talk about their scum-mate. And fairness? Why does fairness equate to towniness? Part 2: Aloratom coming soon.

Wiisp is becoming a townread, because of the reverse survivalism inherent in aggravating Robbnva without actually getting votes onto him (man part of me wants to abbreviate "Robbnva" but I have played with Rob14 before and that makes it feel kinda wrong?)

I sympathize with Taly scumreading my slot, he wasn't explicit about it but I sense he's fairly allocating a Burden of good player on people, likewise giving Y'shtola a pass. Y'shtola seems to play kind of scummy as town, to me, I was in the mason game, although in that game being a mason is actually surprisingly similar to being scum so I'm not sure how much that counts for. I hope she plays later.

How nasty are nomnomnom's deadline? I'm not actually minding the slow pace in terms of fun factor, but if AI needs to be to be forced out then yada yada

Thank you, eyestott! I am glad someone else sees what I'm seeing regarding Y'shtola Rhul. I do feel a little bad now however since this is only her second game. I will give her time to state more opinions before deciding whether I would like to re-place my vote there. Looking forward to part 2!

Scum care more about getting lynched than town, generally, at least in a game with nightkills. Wiisp's actions seemed to increase his odds of Wiisp getting lynched with an aggravated Robbnva voting the wagon. Therefore, Wiisp is >rand for town.
