Thread control isn't a thing though. I thought it was when I was newer too. People synergize with their townreads, thus creating thread control. Getting the best out of people and being humble that you can be wrong is thread control. With that, you can protect your town core for awhile.

Titus v Alisae is an excellent primer. I was a town treestump. I expected my reads to be wrong because I expected people to fuck with me. So I deliberately picked masons with the opposite skillset and built town outward from them.

Also I don’t really wanna start giving reads yet because I think something that has semi-consistently fucked me is trying to get my reads while multiple slots are inactive and then scumreading town bc they were there and I was looking for X scum

Being the most effective shopkeeper owner involves identifying town and placing the best items for them in the market. People play differently.

I think it’s very important that we come to a consensus town read auction owner before deadline that way auction owner can adjust their bid if necessary. Like auction owner going kablooey on the watcher shot is asking for a bad time
