Honestly, I'm actually feeling better about our chances the more I look at the game. I don't think we lose this because we don't even need to race as long as we keep killing the lowest cooldown kill.

I mean, just run through the numbers.

Micc kills one of us tomorrow.
-Micc, Echo, peta, 2xGoon
-We kill petapan

Doesn't matter who gets the kill in on the next day.
-If we get the kill in, we win that night with the night kill.
-if town gets the kill in, we kill the town didn't shoot. The other town has a 48 hour cooldown, we still have a 24 hour cooldown.

We kill the final day.

I honestly think the best course of action is to not shoot at all until final day. No point in accidentally killing ourselves because we mistime a cooldown.

@MOD - I don't know if you saw my previous post, but there isn't any way scum can lose this. We can play it out, sure, but I think it might just be wasting time, tbqh.

No matter how each day goes, as long as we kill the Town player with the lowest cooldown, we will outlast them and win. I respect whatever decision is made, I just wanted to make you aware that scum can't lose this game.

I understand, there's however nothing in the win condition about "and nothing can prevent the same" Perhaps that's an oversight, but I think I have to let it play out.

I'll let Penguin and esurio come in and voice their opinions. But, I think if we are in agreement, one of us can explain in the game thread how town cannot win, and (pleasantly) ask for their surrender lol.

idk, do whatever. but I feel like it could maybe backfire to straight up claim scum because can't they beat us to a kill by a few minutes if we have an identical cooldown length? like we come in to shoot at 48hours+3mins, but echo beat us by shooting at 48hours and 1min. or maybe I'm misunderstanding toog's big brain posts cuz I just finished a bunch of homework and have half a brain cell right now.

We don't have to win any race. We win because the last town standing will have 48 hour cooldown while we have 24.

Just remember to ALWAYS kill the town player with the lowest daykill cooldown. I just want to keep reinforcing this in the event I die before either of you.

Micc hasn't shot. After he shoots, we are all 24 hours. Even if he shoots, we kill whoever at night (2 town, 2 scum remain).

Town kills us next day (assuming no race) after 24 hours, that player is now on 48 hour cooldown. The surviving scum kills the other town on 24 hour cooldown that night. 1 scum, 1 town remain. The scum has 24 hour cd, the town has 48.

In the event Micc doesn't shoot, 24 hours pass and peta or Echo kills, they are now on 48 hour cooldown and the townie we keep.

Anyways, I was thinking asking for a surrender by town would speed things along, but I'm more than willing to just drag things out for the next week as well.

they don't really have reason to believe us since they have no idea how our role actually works. I mean, they could just think it's a gambit. And quoting or paraphrasing role pm is dangerous territory, so...

if it works, cool, but I'll be surprised if town actually goes for it

If we get a kill in before them, more power to us. But the important thing is that we only ever night kill the lowest cooldown player.

Don't forget you have to post at least once every 24 hours, so I figured I might as well post a suggestion of surrender.

I didn't claim scum, but esurio and I should be be pretty much mechanically ruled into the scum role, so it doesn't matter.

Less than 5 hours. If one of you is racing, go for the Micc daykill. If 0eta/echo kills first, just remember they are the person we take to the end.
