skitter legit wasn't even bussing except for when she finally turned on momrangal to save DC
she was just brute forcing votes on town while getting townread for it

that DC elim would've turned some heads for sure. definitely a good move by her.

worst part is
i hated skitter's first post to me in the game and i wanted to post about it and never did
but being honest i'd never have gotten there this game. nacho would've though and we killed him

In 2013 we made an effort to get it into the approved Open setup list, but llamafluff thought it was too scumsided. 7-5 ratio and no PRs does make it look like some kind of mountainous nightmare.
If they haven't played it, I don't think people appreciate just how much info town gets from the wagon movements and the sacrifices. I feel like if anything the setup is slightly townsided.
yeah, from when i got in i could see the path to victory was incredibly tight - so many of the players were just never going to get voted ever. i knew we had to get nacho day 1, we'd get bulge after that, but then the 3rd was going to be incredibly hard. it's also a setup where the momentum swings are huge - a day 1 scum elim puts enormous pressure on scum because they all have to be stuck there and left as potential chain elims

the irony is i was having a conversation with prism before the game about the classic vote your partner hoping it doesn't go through move
and then he subbed in and i damn near shit myself
didn't end up factoring in but it was a scary moment
fun fact i actually typed up reasons for that readlist and then just decided not to post them because i didn't want discussion

oh no, i forgot, it was actually notes but they were not significantly completed so i just didn't attach reasoning. regardless i didn't want to talk about things or, god forbid, actually convince someone
Spoiler: just for kicks here's the notes
infinity
121 eh
kismet -
237
288
308
342
379 makes sense, i don't agree, but yeh
433
438 i believe his scumread of nacho, ultimately. there are reasons there. i disagree vehemently but i can see this asplausibly a way someone would think, the reasoning is easy to follow
518
536
706
716
966
988
990
i am such a sucker for 861
919/920 is also logically sound
disaster cartel - this is kind of a tough thing to explain but menalque tends to be a very heart on his sleeve type player and when things are going poorly for him he lets that get to him a lot, (i think i can reference black flag as an example now?). in general i'm feeling like he's the closest to seeing the game the way i do and i think in this environment that's hugely +town the whole thing where he wanted to policy n_m early was exactly what he did in his towngame and got no traction, again i thiink it comes from genuine conviction that it's the right play
467 comment on not townbinning skitter
i also from experience find ydrasse tends to be really floaty as scum and i would have expected her to flounder if menalque left her to her own devices for several das as scum but that's not really what happened here - 605 in particular i like. 607 okay. 683/684 fine 827 mentions scumread on nacho but expresses doubt. 932/934 seem like a genuine reachout
1014 is almost way more hesitance than i'd expect from scum in this setup which is kind of funny. the fact that they have ultimately decided against voting nacho i think moves them to the townside
i think in particular mena leaning into the emotions here and getting kind of toxic serves no purpose here if he's scum and things aere going fairly decently and is way more likely to come from town frustrated that they feel they're being frozen out
1194 is actually a point against VFT
1197/1311
infinity read is, idk, understandable, was how i felt on first glance but not later
1330 is very townie
momrangal - has barely any posts, clearly can't get into the game, most of her posts are talking about not_mafia which is probably tactical antispew, everyone seems to scumread her but no one wants to kill her
not_mafia - lmao not even gonna bother
notscience - 686 is actually horrid. to a significant extent he just seems to have picked nacho as a tunnel target and never let up but think his reasoning is absolutely terrible and people are simply townreading off attitude/confidence more than anything. it all sort of follows the idea of nacho is scum, the thing he is doing is scummy. It's all begging the question. saying shit like "well our reads are similar which means he must be bussing"
here's a summary of reasons i can find for scumreading nacho: posting too much (126) "has been weird" "not_mafia" (269)"haven't liked how he's approached cakez" (708) he's fearmongering (792)
"but I almost feel like nacho's playing up some like disappointment card to make Cakez buy into their TvT angle? I quoted one of his chastising posts above. I don't really feel like hes trying to sort Cakez so much as box him in."
I don’t get how you got from the first to the second, wouldn’t chastising someone for not being good at tone reading imply you think they are town, yet they are in your lowest scumpool?
686 is horrid, just presupposes nacho is scum andtherefore must be bussing
salsabil - want to say town just for effort/WIM, but a lot of her statements in her catchup have been waffly, i dunno, probably still town. i did see bork's mention of her performing adequately as scum in a newbie game, i'd want to check the meta but i don't have time right now
1110 is good and shows she's not just baselessly tunneling
sircakez - holy shit, this is actually hysterical. cakez was performatively distancing himself/staying away from the nacho wagon, until i replaced in, and suddenly he jumped on it. his hop on sucks so bad. this is scum who was afraid i aws going to take their mislim away. i think my biggest issue with cakez this game is how safe his reads are. when he's been town he's willing to give unpopular opinions but here he's largely just riding consensus, which i think given the state of things points to very bad things. the logic in 1514 is also terrible about scum nacho beeing hard to kill later, this is the exact opposite of the correct logic for this setup, you want to vote out the easiest to catch members of the scumteam so they can't flee, worrying about strong scum is irrelevant if they can't keep a vote off their partners but whn you get an elim driven onto a town player
running up disaster cartel for "no development of reads" on page 11 (258) just feels asinine
the unvote of nacho in 358
noting in particular he makes a scumread/callout of the mom slot but doesn't advance it, offers to wagon them with nacho in 909
venus fly trap -
very hard to explain. 74 is overly harsh on re-reading it for early game
101 the first time i was like "oh what tonie paranoia" but looking at it now the logic is just absurdly stupid and ass-backwards, no one busses for the sake of getting a nightkill
127/149 notsci has a halfway decent scum/i like notsci so far
almost a little too confident on townreading himearly? 196
284 is aagain terrible at the end
i eally dislike the townread on notscience in 303 because it's flinging around buzzwords without pointing to concrete examples
329 "icky interactions"
i really don't like 479
545 is over-justifying
the 565 read on ydrasse fluffposting is bizarre?
639 there's almost way too much emphasis on interactions from them, and i think that's more likely to come from scum who are more aware of connections
648 jut kind of evasive
709 scummy because he said bssing is not viable??
718 tone, really
726 just comes to tvs with cakez town but without anything actually said about cakez??
814 i hate the way she's talking to nacho
822/826 arer kind of an unfair ringing-up and 835 is a very reasonable reply
1036
ugh 1059 is kind of towny
i don't think 1114 is fair at all
1148 is a good read but w/e
1154 reasoning for shoving it through about nacho being stuck on 3 votes is very much a fallacy
1156 comments about wanting to play with mena but then her approach to him is just awkward
1189/1190 is kind of awkward
1201 is soft-edged, fenesitty

somehow #6 is skitter's scummiest post this game even after rereading. she really deserves this W

imho the lilith posts about nacho and n_m were, uh, bad although i didn't read them that way before i replaced in

Hi bork
If scum me definitely cant be scum with someone, there is a possibility that i absolutely can be scum with them.
I could also wk the hell out of a buddy depending on the situ
