oh malkon you misunderstand me and underestimate the extent of my innocence.

for clarity, I actually went through and annotated each section of the Starbucks app t&cs with my own numbering just to make sure that it was clearly legible and easy to refer back to when I did my bedtime reading. I won't include section 5.3 so as not to compromise your interrogation but

You may also be shocked to discover Apple's involvement in all this. Now APPLE, not me, has tremendous motivation to kidnap Mr. Monopoly for corporare espionage. Turn your attention away from this duck, dear investigators. Big tech is the true villain here.

Hm detectives, these are some tough nuts to crack. Anyone have any ideas? I lean toward gamma gooey

I feel like gammagoey's use of the helicopter to leave means they're one of the ones that was able to use the get out of debt free cards.

Currently I dislike the sugary, good townie attitude the worst has in talking to people. Everyone has secrets. No one is innocent.

That being said I don't have any reason to currently vote any of them. I still find it highly suspicious that N doesn't know there are starbucks in australia. Not sure how helpful that is at this point.

literally everyone is deadass guilty of this but N bought a house so i think N would have read the terms of service on buying a house or whatever so i'm not voting there

Malkon05 wrote: As for the other two, there is no 5.3 of the starbucks app. Anyone who even accessed their app briefly would know there are no numbers at all! If you aren’t reading the terms and conditions of a simple app how are we supposed to trust that you are reading the terms and conditions for anything?!?!?!
My dear sir you asked for details on the Starbucks App Terms and I most assuredly gave you my barely remembered summary of a portion of text from the app's terms of service, and if you think Starbucks will allow you to rob a bank with their app given what they've written there you are SORELY mistaken.

If you wanted something more specific I'd recommend you speak to a lawyer, or perhaps your accountant since you're so concerned about whether or not these paragraphs have associated numbers to go along with them. I hardly see how this coffee establishment's legal terms could provide any real evidence to the actual crime at hand regardless.

Surely you'd remember whether you saw numbered sections on something regardless of whether or not there were terms. In your own words before I mentioned the lack of numbers "Ya'know I have read it but it's been so long. Maybe something about corporate liability (and specifically the lack thereof) if you use the app for non-intended purposes, like robbing banks, or laundering money, or scalding tourists with the coffee you buy?"

I mean you, yourself stated you read it. Regardless of how long it's been, how would you forget the sections not being numbered at all?

Suspects, what is your opinion on gambling?
Is there any information about your finances that we should be aware of that could help clear you of suspicion?

Also, what are your thoughts on the plotline and/or major characters of Squid Game?

Gambling is pretty cool. It's not for me, though. I just don't have the time. You see, I have developed an addicted to constructing hotels, and that takes up most of my time. As you can imagine, it also puts me in an egregious amount of debt. Which is a wonderful way to segue into my second point - the kidnapping of such a high profile person as Mr. Monopoly would be a
very
costly endeavour, and I am in far too much debt to finance such an operation.

I thought it was really fascinating that they made a whole musical about squid without referencing any of the characters having three hearts, or being underwater the whole time.

I'd consider the hotels I'm building on boardwalk and park place to be outstanding investments.

easily

You should never gamble with money you can't afford to lose, but I'm partial to a few rounds of blackjack when business takes me to a casino once a year or so.
Sadly, my accountant has been slacking recently, and hasn't yet finished up the tax returns from last year that may/may not have elucidating information.
Ariel wrote:Also, what are your thoughts on the plotline and/or major characters of Squid Game?
I've only seen part of the first episode, but relevant to your earlier question I can tell you the man featured does seem like an irresponsible gambler.
Cheery Dog wrote:Have you put your free money into any investment options?
Money is almost never TRULY free my dear
But I have put a fair portion of my recent income into stocks - some selections I'm quite proud of myself for, but the market as a whole seems to be on a downturn the past couple months.

Okay so at this point I’m probably leaning to voting the worst or gamma, I probably will not vote N.

Not 100% sold either way unless other detectives have thoughts.

What's a lawyer? My dear bugspray, I fear you misunderstand me! I am very, very, very innocent, and therefore I have no need for lawyers!

I don't like that the worst has managed to obtain both boardwalk and park place..

But N never answered my question.

Actually the missed thing that is making me cast this vote is that possible confession at the start of the event.

I of course have a lawyer on retainer to go over contracts on major purchases and sales - our most recent interaction is quite confidential but I can tell you in 2020 a company I had a significant stake in was purchased by Amazon, so they went through some of that documentation on my behalf.
