I think the following outcomes would have been better for town.

1. You did gambit and hit scum then were night killed.
2. You did not gambit. 28.57% chance of hitting scum.
3. You did gambit miseliminated and were night killed.
4. You did gambit, miseliminated and avoided your own miselimination.

I think all of these outcomes were objectively better.

Why would scum have to kill outside “the town firm” which doesn’t even exist?

You’re assuming you’re right (which I won’t acknowledge) then assuming scum have to do something based on you being right, which doesn’t follow.

Ok so that’s interesting.
I think butterflies killed Pooky because they knew the gambit I did they had to confirm someone so they did it before killing Roden.
Good move on butterflies part.
Now no one can sus why they are still alive and why they weren’t killed when they made sure to kill Pooky.

This still doesn't explain why pooky before roden. No one can switch here to scum!Roden. Everyone could switch to scum!Pooky. Might make sense to kill pooky next but not here. So there's some other reason to kill pooky over roden here. IMO it's just wifom chaos kill.
