I can't deny the information gained from my flip would be huge since it seems like there is a line down the middle of the population of this game as to my alignment. But I'd like to make it past D1 finally as town in one of these darn games.

general thing - mostly for chip but others too...don't be SO level 1.
"this guy is defending this guy and this guy, so if one is a wolf the others are too" is almost always wrong fyi. powerwolfing, as it's known to me, is hard and requires correct circumstances. and doing it correctly means you won't even notice it's being done. a bro doesn't outright defend a bro that often...they just push the shit out of someone else instead, and then their bros push there too. that's the way to powerwolf
when you see someone defending someone that is actually scummy, and they flip town, question the defender there. they probably fell victim to wanting to get towncred and failed to realize their defense of "I just don't see it" looks like blatant TMI (HI FLORESTAN if ploben flips town. saying mhsmith's case doesn't do anything for you was the wrong choice if ploben/you are town/scum).

I like that Flor brought up points to think about players differently and not just assuming their alignment read is correct. His info dump and defense comes at an interesting time late in the day, like he's setting himself up for some town cred due to it looking like I could be pushed to a lynch.
Going waaaay back, he did push me hard early in the game so comparing that to his stance now seems like a townie reconsideration of the game progression.
Flor is bordering lurker status so if scum could be dangerous. Might not be a bad target for cop in N1.

Not a big fan of florestan's post. I get it, you can't know for sure who the scum are. Pointing that out is useless though. We just take our best guess and go with it. Theorizing about scum partners isn't a bad thing, because if ploben flips town or whatever, it's not like we are committed to our reads based on him being scum, we can simply readjust. But lets be real, he won't flip town.

1. I think you are the one being level 1 here. Stuff needs to be said, to get responses. See, here you talk as if you are making a general point, but this will relate to a specific agenda. FWIW, in my experience, condescending advice usually comes from Town, but I don't put too much store in that because I don't keep records of stuff like that, and I don't have a reliable database of examples to access. Which brings me to another point:
2. I don't put much store into that quoted bit above, because "is almost always wrong" is just weasally - pretending to make a factual point, without factual backup. Basically, if you are just quoting from your own experience, I reserve the right to respond with "MMMV".

Called him out as scummy early on, since then he hasn't really done much but everyone else started appearing scummier than him so he kind of got lost in there
I think he can still be scum, but besides that ploben town thing you were talking about, I'm not sure how I'd associate him with anyone in a big way
It's possible that he's mafia but I'd never want to kill him before Ranger and Kuroi (Unless you think if Ploben is town, Florestan is more likely mafia?)

Ploben is like 90% a wolf, kuroi like 70%. I'll compromise on kuroi to save someone other than ploben or to avoid a no lynch. I don't really have anything else to say at this point.

FYI, I'm probably going to replace out. I know I replaced in and honestly, I've never replaced out before, but I know as well as people I've played with that I can do so much better than I am.
