I also think the juxtaposition between his position on Flea and his interactions with you on an emotional level is him back sliding and contradictory in a way that I'm not sure BM would do as scum.

His interaction with Nacho is pretty classic BM, almost everyone has a bad first(ish) impression of BM and engages them as such with a negative interaction it's remarkly similar to how I first engaged them the first time I met them in which we got into a spat.
The other games you've played with him you were only really tangentially engaged/weren't being actively pushed by him.

I wish I could write like this as scum. This sort of posting is what is going to ensure I never play a good scum game. How do I even begin to make up this bullshit as scum?

You think I'm town anyway and there are definitely players that I could drive myself insane trying to figure out that I could save myself the trouble on.

1. Can't really answer that. Ongoings, etc. I haven't gotten scum in any of my completed games and I'm not scum here, fwiw. I think it's pretty safe to say my scumgame sucks, though. Before my hiatus in 2018ish, I got handed like 5 consecutive scumgames and got absolutely beaten to shit with it. I have a complex about it now.
4. I strongly encourage you to read that newbie I linked earlier. Can link again if you can't find it. Very short. If you want to make it even shorter, head straight to Day 3 and read the back and forth between myself and Battle Mage. Battle Mage comes from a generation of players that is absolutely capable of making that kind of post because they were much more adept in manipulating emotions and using the "town typically do this" archetype against you. (I'm looking at you, Pooky.) I'm not saying Battle Mage is scum here, but I don't think he's town for that post.

Bah, you're gonna make me blush. Fine. If I'm honest, I don't want to be conftown. Mechanically it doesn't mean much to me or the gamestate one way or the other so use it on someone who's low effort or is harder to read. I'm not near as hard to read as Nacho and I'm confident that you/Bell/others will figure it out fairly quickly if you haven't already. And from a personal standpoint, I'd rather not have it because I'm really fucking tired of being dead after Day 1. With the exception of FGO I've been dead by day 2 in every game I've played since I got back. Being conftown would do a boatload of nothing other than paint a target on my back. And my back hurts.

@oil. I’m processing it. It’s good to know that BM can project a sort of relaxed, confident demeanor as scum. There’s a lot to process because his scum game has quite a broad tool kit.
