I've been independently researching Occam's Razor.

From examples.yourdictionary.com:

Occam's razor is a good rule of thumb if you remember that it depends on making fewer assumptions based on as much evidence as possible. The doctor made several assumptions about the patient's supposed cold without examining all the evidence. IMO we can't apply Occam's Razor because we haven't examined all of the evidence yet, at least two players haven't given testimony at all and others may have more to contribute, so at this point we're still just jumping to conclusions.

Ari and andres obv if they are town are part of the coalition I'd be trying to form if I was in your shoes. It is potentially a pocketing play to say "welp, nothing to see here, let's yeet this potential busser a50, and if that is wrong, the wagon of a weak ass scum is pure and we should turn to VP".

That's a pretty obvious strategy in a scum!datisi world.

I think the issue with the way you analyzed the game is that you didn't actually read what happened or how the gameflow actually was moving so you made a judgement on the VCA without context.

Then you used that VCA as a first principle to push slots in a manner that didn't make sense to actual game play.

The lesson imo you should've learned from that mistake is that using VCA every time instead of actually fitting VCA to gameplay is not a good way to play the game rather than oh no unicorn situation I just got unlucky this time.
