This isn't fair to me at all. I doubt any information will come out of your town lynch because your town lynch will be a lazy slowroll town lynch. You can help mitigate this effect by making the job of defending you easier: I actually contemplated rolling out with the most frustrating bullshit attack just to get you to respond in typical town fashion because while I can do this alone, I would rather pull a ffery out of the fire that wants to live as opposed to the ffery I'm looking at today :/

So you think he's town? Part of my whatever-this-is involves feeling like he's probably town, but I don't think I'd catch onto it if he's scum. His play this game is hugely different from the last one we played, but my slot had started out as Empire/me. I don't think he could easily back away from his Empire-town read in that game later on.

Let me rephrase this. I can see the distinct possibility of a town slow-roll today. I'm not strongly townreading F-16 (it's way closer to null, mostly because he knows he's found stuff that definitely are markers of my town game but he's waffling), but I realize I may have unrealistic expectations about his ability to untangle the morass of crap that I've generated this game.

And I can see the possibility of town in Regfan's push because I don't know for sure how he forms reads. I know he's a meta-based player from the way he churned up the meta in the Space game if for no other reason, and he was doing that because Empire expected it IIRC.

OTOH I'm an insanely easy mislynch this game.

So, it's probably town putting me back in something resembling lynch range. And I wouldn't be surprised to once again be the deadline compromise.

I've been contrasting this game and Chef mafia (and to some extent the Pinniped's game) in my own mind because those were hydra games where I wound up doing the heavy lifting for my slot despite being the weaker scum-player. I see all kinds of differences in my play here internally, but I don't know how the translate to externals aside from being well aware that I've played a crap game, quite possibly the least effortful game I've ever played anywhere.

Regfan, number of posts comes down to the bedrock of my playstyle - I prefer to be in-the-moment. 300 posts with so little deep content is where the lack of time (and leftover energy) shows.

If I were scum, I'd probably be trying to post a similar amount because it's a marker of my town game. It used to be very easy to spot my scum game simply based on where in the activity list I fell postcount-wise.
