that's

not how this works
im sorting your slot off of you, not mastina. sorting the easier head to read is a perfectly valid way to sort hydras.

though i don't know either head of michael scott so i don't really care about that for them
you phrased it like you sort hydras by which head is the lesser skilled one :V

I'm batting 1.000 at reading Enter (town and scum) in games I've played with him, though they were all marathons which is a different ballgame

but it's another reason why this hydra limited posting style is also frustrating to me

oh

well, generally less skilled players are easy to read. then there's people like alonzo and saudade who have obstructionist playstyles, people like mathblade and rich who are just better at scum, etc. in the case of Enter and Taly, I don't know Enter at all but from being scum and town with Taly once I'm not confident I'd be able to sort them, ergo Enter is who I go for. In the case of you and Mastina, Mastina thrives as scum whereas you hate it, so you are the target to read. Who the stronger player is in your hydra is debatable and not important anyways. And then there's hydras like Michael Scott that post as a unit and I don't know either member at all, so they can just be a hydra read.

what is the sample size?

and if they need to post a different way for you to develop a read, if they're town they should be happy to comply.

ankhead actually prefers scum to town nowadays

ankhead also feels less obligated to tryhard in scumgames

@mbaki - just 3 games it's not actually statistically significant, but I had him correctly as town twice and caught him as scum page 1 in the other game

I'm starting to feel the same way. I don't like any of the Brigitte/Alonzo/Parm lynches but the game is starting to feel murky enough that I'm worried maybe I'm wrong on a scum in the three. I don't think it's something that would change pre flips though.

outside of implo/reality check i'm still missing some absolute locktown reads which is making sorting the rest of the players hard.

and p-edit with that implosion vote, honestly the brigitte wagon looks pretty good comp wise. and thinking about it more that question about why I was townreading her may have been designed to make me look bad if she were to flip scum

if I just had a green check on Michael Scott or RadCow right now I'd feel so much better about a Brigitte vote

@mbaki
Enter won paragon, TYVM, and doesn't play scum so there are no scum games outside of marathons for Enter to link you.

@guiltylion
I want to put it out there that I feel like I am mind melding with you more and more which makes me think you're more and more town. I'm not posting very much because Taly is teaching me how he plays mafia and I'm trying to use a less aggressive, more positively assertive, posting style because of it, including thinking through my posts before I hit "Submit." Unfortunately there are people in this game with less between their brain than in the stomach of a man after a thirty day fast as far as how they approach mafia, so obviously the response to them is a bit less... controlled. I'm working on maintaining it, however.

I also feel better about radcow town than everyone else but GL and the reache probably.

That said if MS is scum then possible 1 scum on a 4 person wagon isn't exactly like, particularly noteworthy wagon comp.

okay i typed out "the other rc" and then decided to be clever and say reache instead of radcow and i accidentally didn't delete the "the" and i'm confident someone is going to be perplexed at this so here i am

i actually completely forgot you were on the wagon. weird. i think i saw reality check and michael scott on it, saw that i was the fourth vote, and had assumed that radcow was the last one and forgot he got parried.

i looked at the wagon comp, looked at gl's post, and spaced out.

let me tell you about all of the reasons i would have to lie about this as scum.
