A third day of playing amateur psychologists. The forces of Light were beginning to lose hope. “Maybe there aren't any Forsaken in here after all? Maybe that big voice is lying just to get us to kill one another!” someone theorized.
“That's exactly what a Forsaken would want us to think!”
“Oh... right...”
Eventually they come to a deadlock between Ms Marangal and Empking. Hours of arguing about the two suspects ensued with no one budging. Finally, Selkies steps up. “My other personality and I have talked it over, and we're ready to switch in the interest of getting something done today. If we're wrong... no, that's right, I won't think about that. Someone has to do this.”
With that, the town escorts Ms Marangal to the gallows. Selkies put one hand over their eyes and the other on the convenient lever, and pull.
Ms Marangal, Moghedien, Forsaken Mafia Channeler Dream-Meddler Redirector
has been lynched Day 3.
It is now Night 3. You have 48 hours for Day actions and 96 hours in total for Night. Night 3 ends in
(expired on 2013-07-10 17:00:00).

Finally, one of the Forsaken hiding out in here had been caught. The heroes have a moment to enjoy their success, as well as the realization that the game they're playing is no joke. At the same time, the knowledge that there definitely are other Forsaken still hiding amongst them is a sobering thought. Uneasily, they head off to sleep. Tonight the murder is a bit more straightforward, as it was the first night. Those of you who actually bother sleeping do so peacefully, but the morning light reveals another corpse. No humongous surprises there; you're not out of the woods yet.
Nero Cain, Gawyn Trakand, Town Modified Bodyguard
, has been killed night 3.
It is now day 4. With 6 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.

The Rule of 3 says there's a partner in there.
I'm not ready to risk a vote yet though, since our collective unwillingness to no-lynch makes today the equivalent of 5p lylo.
GCBC can't be scum unless Selkies is as well, which would mean rule of 3 is wrong in this case. Thus, I believe GCBC's investigation.
scumSelkies wouldn't back up GCBC's result on Iece due to a poor risk/benefit ratio.
SoO is confTown as far as I'm concerned for sending a ring to Nero -- I'm betting the ring was a 1-shot dreamwalk, too bad Nero didn't use it last night.
So yeah, Iece/Emp it is.
I Dreamwalked last night hoping that with Moghedien out of the picture it would be safe and the scum would shoot at me for being the player under the least amount of pressure. Nobody else entered

I didn't do anything last night. I believe in GB's claim; it supports what I believed yesterday. Obviously I don't think I'm scum; I think Selkie's quick change of vote yesterday didn't seem like what an ignorant townie would do.

I haven't used it before, but I've had it correctly used against me. Lost D2 in a newbie game.

I think this game:
http://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=26051 proves that Mara was aware of the rule of three. I think the 'rule of three' is certainly something scum can avoid if they know that town expects it.

hey all, sorry for the neglect today...
i'll be posting tomorrow, and i promise to put in some decent time and energy...
One thing to note is that scum does have someone with pretty decent flavor knowledge...or Mara was lying about not knowing...
honestly, from the way Mara claimed, i'd bet its the former...it was too awkward, otherwise...
Iece might be a good look, but i definitely want to read before i place any votes...

Well, I didn't take any action last night, not even an action at Nero, so I don't see any shenanigans that could have led GCBC to get that kind of result on me.

I weighed the odds of TWO scum cliaming a protective role and there being no protective role in this setup. That didn't make any sense. Mara's scumflip made nero pretty much confotown AND a protective PR to boot. He was the most likely NK, and so it made sense.
Selkies, how sure are you that the partner is Demon/Emp?

It's not Sword.
It's probably not you. There is a small corner of gibbering paranoia about you guys, but it's locked away.
Iece was on the Emp wagon, which gives me a little bit of pause about Emp beng scum. Orcinus feels strongly that he's scum, based on Demon's day 3 play and POE.
There's an outside chance it could be Beli, but I've been reading him as town since mid-day 1 and there has been no reason to revisit that.

That's an interesting turn of phrase. According to your role claim, you used up your one-shot motivator action on night 2.
Not that it isn't pretty clear you're lying anyway.
