Roughly, I think scum often feel insecure about not being able to respond in real-time or not wanting to respond in real-time and so feel a greater need to justify their limited activity than town do. Not universal and not utterly condemnatory but again, that’s not the only reason I think you’re scum

i did specify that i was only responding to the part of your post that was about my activity since it was related to my response to gobbles

almost all of the people who have played with scum with me since my return to the site are in this game and they’ve all said that my play is or feels very different from my scumgames with them. i’m not going to argue that i’ve accomplished a lot in this game because i haven’t, but i don’t think i’ve been pretending to have accomplished anything either. i don’t feel like you’ve described anything that isn’t characteristic of my towngame or just NAI for me.

i think skitter and SS and to some extent maria have all vouched for me at one point. if you’re town, can you step back and maybe realize that they know me better than you do? unless you think the solve is all within {me, skitter, SS, maria}, then fypov at least one of these people is telling the truth about their thoughts on me.

actually it shouldn’t even matter what your solve is - max is 3 scum, so unless all of them are scum and I’m not, then at least one person is telling the truth. and in the case where the other 3 are scum, then i’m town so it doesn’t matter whether they’re telling the truth.

Is it not possible that one person is wrong while the others are your scum buddies? It could make sense that the one townie who is wrong said something first and the others all used that justification to townread you publicly.
