A relevant 2013 game!In post 1543, Medea the Alien wrote:You two literally bickered identically to this as town-town in said game.
As town, are you more prone to trust people who townread you the same? Meaning, you see all this confusing and layered play from people and you were trying to hone into that yourself

You find my point that compelling eh?
Give me a definition of coasting and the closest you'll find is that our avatar has water in it.In post 1546, unwnd wrote:This isn't how arguments work, Bell

We went after Medea instantly, and have been present and contenting throughout the game. I have 2 really good town reads that are probably town. I need one more and then I'll try to kill a scum somewhere. We both have a ton of in game posts and basically have something of an opinion on everyone.
I mean, you can suit yourself, I'm not saying you're not allowed to pressure us or what not. You always have that right, but the bar to correctly reading us is really low. So I'm just like, what?

It's not a strong reason to hard-townread Rhea, but I do feel like she started the game by intentionally relinquishing some of her strongest tools as a scum player.
It sounds like you disagree with the take although you have her off the table today, too, just based on rep.
@line 2: my belief is that she would have decided to play the game this way before receiving her role pm. if i don't believe that then i have to get into some ethical questions that make me uncomfortable.
If you had decided to play a minimalist approach before a game was rolled and wound up with a scum role, would you stick with it? Why or why not?
I don't choose a playstyle approach in advance because I never stick with them and always fall back into old (bad? maybe, but the generally work for me) habits. I envy people who can easily tailor their playstyle. The kinds of stuff I decide in advance of going into a game are shaped by my role and thoughts on the setup, and by the player list. And they often fall by the wayside due to the way the game unfolds.

But Lady Rhea COULD have still gone for the tools. It's very clear as we have literally already proved in this thread that communication with said goddess of Fodlan is quite possible, that she would have had zero issue communicating her intents around the shard mechanic.
