its my belief that the 5 radio callers are also going to be playing a mafia game of sorts.

in my theoryland:

we have 3 town radio callers, 1 mafia radio caller, and 1 jester radio caller.

eventually there will be an elimination vote on the radio caller side as well, probly on day 2 and day 3 and 4.
this feels like a very pooky theory, i think pooky is uninformed about the caller mechanics which is a bit +town. though scum could be uninformed too obviously
Caller mechanics? I mean, scum stump and scum team know each other, so what is there beyond that? And the traitor theory I guess.

Hey, hey! Inbound communications work shockingly well.
We can hear most of what you guys are saying!

Yes... and on that note,
It's good to see that a majority of you are so keen to solving this matter.
As always, please continue to uphold yourselves in a professional manner.
~Maple

            Image
Hi... Hoping these come through ok.
Your initial guesses appear lackluster, but I can't seem to pinpoint the scum yet.
Your call on Rousseau seems correct for the moment, as for Tetra I have my doubts...
Easy to play the newcomer card as scum.
You all keep working. We're here to help.
~Locke

Ok I gotta say this is quite the interesting group goin' on here.
We've got comms but not much.
Lived in many cities, travelling from place to place as a soldier of war, been a pilot..
I've seen it all, but this is something new.
Hope you all keep in touch, because this will be one hell of a ride...

I know that there are some bad actors among you guys, but..
Don't lose sight of yourselves out there. You'll need to work together to survive!
After all, we're still friends all in this together, right? Be it that we live or die.

shutter: i wonder if "we can hear most of what you guys are saying" is actually literally true and they don't get everything we say

maple: probably being influenced by pooky's post here but i do think maple is leaning into a character since it starts here

locke: i don't love locke dunking on our hunting without providing an alternative. i think this post suggests that they don't know tetrina. it's nice that you're here to help, but you know what's more helpful thank saying that? helping!

fleet: possibly had not even read the thread before writing this

shutter: "bad actors among you guys" seems consistent with her apparently not knowing about the scum caller. i wonder how the timeline of her realizing this vs. us talking about it looks. not sure if the lovey attitude is a tactic or not.

Hi again!
As to Maple's point, I'm not trying to impress, just trying to be helpful, unlike you appear to be at this moment.
I totally did not notice the whole Locke-Rousseau thing before, but very cool, and I hope we work together more soon.
P.S. Y'all have wayyyyyy too much time on your hands to be committing to this game lol.

You're all too hot to pull the trigger right now, so much so I bet mafia has their own fears stewing inside them..
..wondering if you'll all just shoot the person next to you despite the fact that you all make one big circle;
you'll all fall down.
Take a step back and be careful who you honestly pick. I've seen enough deception from people durin' my own time.
~Fleet

Image
Hm.. have you sensed any deception among them, Fleet?
And, oh! Tetrina! # - I believe I may answer your question.
We converse while the radio's on, but otherwise we don't talk much outside of that. Hope that helps!
~Shutterbug

             Image
Shutter, I can't make a good call when everyone is caught up in a game of who's who.
I don't want to see anyone harmed, I want to see justice.
A few vile people walk amogus, and even that will be hard to watch..
..putting someone you thought was your friend down, for the sake of the war.
~Fleet

Image
When I was referring to Rousseau, I was referring to the picklist they sent early on in the correspondence.
I prefer Kyouko's list in post # now, and their position in #.
Logic checks out with what I'm seeing.
It's possible they're both scum and Kyouko is throwing Gamma under the bus,
or Kyouko is just being dumb and trying to convolute her way out of being scum-claimed.
~Locke

             Image
Please refrain from diverting our sleuths out there Pooky.
And as for you Locke, contributing thoughtlessly is worse than putting out nothing.
I assure you I have been listening intently.
~Maple

# - I've known the war we're dealing with now was a long time coming for years.
I get information from everywhere and had to be stationed in a million places.
As soon as you get comfortable, you move to the next place and meet new faces..
..only to see them vanish when you have to leave again.
~Fleet
maple: i'm not sure i get this comment at locke. given the first conversation, i feel like this would make more sense directed at fleet.

locke: wow i did not notice the absolute shade in this post before. if he wants to work with rousseau, has that materialized?

shutter: this is just nothing

monarch: again just someone telling us we suck without helping

fleet: i am still not convinced this person is reading the game

shutter: this does actually contribute something by questioning fleet. would love to hear some reads from the callers by now tho.

fleet: completely dodges the question and probably still isn't reading the thread

locke: wow! an opinion! i think it makes sense that a new player would find kyouko's case compelling. no offense or anything. not sure i understand the both-sides talk at the end. essentially this says "wow, great takes kyouko! i agree! except maybe you're scum and i don't agree!"

maple: i wish he'd been clearer about what his criticism of locke is about. hasn't contributed much at this point besides shitting on locke for unclear reasons.

fleet: he read enough to see a post directed at him and not comment on anything else! thrilling.

i don't have any townreads yet i just dislike in different degrees. locke probably my least favorite so far? i wonder why pooky picked on shutterbug when locke is the only one actually doing anything at this point, even though i don't especially like what they're doing. maybe he started doing that later, i don't recall

Well, anything to get your mind off the insanity of the present situation, I suppose!

They're going to need a strong leader if they are going to survive out there in the wilderness!
Maple, Locke, Monarch, Fleet.. who do you think it should be, and why?
It has to be someone we can trust..
~Shutterbug

  Image
I'll be frank, darling, untangling conspiracies is not my forte.
I try and stick to the facts.
My current view of the group's towniest leaders appear to be Kyouko and... (dispute me on this one) Skitter?
Overall, they both have been pushing the investigation forward without any major hiccups,
and have very town-like appearances.

I'm digging Pooky's analytics on other peeps and am rooting for them in battleship.

They're a town read in my mind, and probably a somewhat safe bet.

# - Don't try us, ask and you'll receive, but demands wont help.
Also, you've been the most active voice here --

That's just me though.

I believe Gamma supports our cause tho he may change suspicions too quickly for my taste. # - #
Oh, and sorry for my lack of punctuality (which caused the static) and outdated info thus far.
I fell behind a bit, but should fare better now.
~Monarch
shutter: nothing

shutter: at least she tried to start a conversation!

maple: claims to be a logical player, though this post contains what seem like gut reads. why does he want to be disputed on calling skitter town? is that just a way of saying it might be controversial?

fleet: was pooky doing analytics at this point?

monarch: i don't mind this

locke: don't mind this either

fleet: ah yes, talking a lot is bad. uh what? at least it's a consistent stance

monarch: this might be a townpost

If such claims are true, then things would certainly get more interesting from here on out.
I am no traitor.
As such, I believe that I, along with the rest of us, should strive to prove that theory false with our contributions.
I suspect any traitors will have trouble adding to the conversation meaningfully.

Gamma, I like your list in # and your revision in #,
and I'm curious to see what your reads on us are.
As to the question raised about special abilities in #,
I have only my 5 senses, and my knowledge of the others from previous interactions.
And thanks for the bode of confidence Pooky!
~Locke

# - How could you say such nice things about me and yet be so accusatory at the same time!?
Me.. "scum"!?! Never!
Your first impressions were correct, I'm just too cute to be a traitorous monster!
~Shutterbug

Image
# - That is an incredibly brief summary...
#, # - rousseau and Pooky seem to agree with me.
# - Kyouko provides a bit more info here.
In order for you to catch up Enchant, I would also suggest reading the logs on what little House had to say,
in addition to some of the small wagons on the pirate gang. (Namely Cephrir and DGB).
~Maple

        Image
# - feel like this joke is nothing more than disguised truth.
Feelin quite neutral about everyone at this point, but I seem to have an affinity for Pooky.
The way they speak is quite understanding, and I don't see deception.

shutter: i'm not sure i buy that they're just now realizing this

maple: also seems to be news to him... maybe there is something to this/it wasn't in their role PMs somehow.

locke: nothing here

monarch: i'm not sure why she calls out locke in particular, it seems to me that this criticism could apply to any of them

maple: sure

locke: i like them inviting reads on the callers, feel like scum would love to avoid scrutiny

shutter: i feel like a town player would respond to pooky's criticism by doing something, rather than this

maple: oh, this is why enchant read house's iso. i like this post.

fleet: meh

my reads-

lean town: maple, monarch, locke
neutral: fleet
just a smidge under neutral: shutter
