Zakeri wrote:Yes, but he's done stuff that's scummy for a normal person. He was asked to give a list of suspicious people, and did so providing three words - the names of three people. Generally, you're suppose to explain why you're suspicious of someone, or if you can't, admit that you have nothing on them. He's been generally unhelpful and evasive in his conversations, and your defending him because it's his meta is starting to rub me the wrong way.

While it's True Lowell has provided just as much as Empking has, Empking has been here all game long, which Lowell hasn't. The fact that they've both provided almost the same amount of information should make Empking by default slightly more suspicious than Lowell.
You know, this way of thinking seems oddly familiar... oh wait, now I remember! The whole "normal players play this way, so this player doesn't, is known for not doing so, but let's call it scummy anyway" routine was used against ABR earlier. That worked out well then too, didn't it?

Right, Because it was wrong the first time, it will always be wrong, forever.

and, yes, I do see the irony of saying things like this since I was one of the people so against the ABR lynch that I was willing to call everyone on it scum, But I'm certain that lynching Empking would bring about better results than lynching Lowell. That's the opinion my vote is reflecting.

No, it won't be right everytime, but, in this case, this is how Empking plays even as town. The posts very rarely exceed 3 lines. Annoying? Yes, highly. Helpful? Hardly. Scummy? Normally, yes, but for Emp, not right away, if ever. Other factors have to be used for scumminess.

Zakeri wrote:The thing I find weird about Lowell's claim is that I did investigated him and he's not Shinra. We should be treating this like a standard Vanilla claim. He could either be Sephiroth or a Turk, and I don't think he's sephiroth, since being the only person of your scum team, you'd have a much greater interest in staying alive than Lowell seems to have. If there's good reason to believe he's a turk, I'd be happy to hammer him, but I still think Empking is much more likely to be scum.

Hmmm.

Unvote:Lowell

Dosn't prove he's town, and if he dosn't want to get lynched anyway sooner or later he NEEDS to start posting more real content (and needs to do it, like, now), but that does seem to lower the odds of him being scum; enough so that EmpKing now seems like a better lynch at the moment.

Ok, so deadline is...uh...tommorow? How many votes does EmpKing have on him at the moment?

Can we please have a vote count, mod?

(I expect to vote EmpKing shortly btw; would like to know the vote count first, though.)

Ok, then, who do you think we should lynch?

We need to lynch someone, and we basically need to do it right now. If you're defending the guy on the #1 bandwagon at the moment, you really need to also be offering an alternative.

OK,
Unvote, Vote: Lowell
, because I'm not liking the chances of four more Empking votes happening in eight hours when scum are clearly content to lurk their way to deadline.

One more Lowell vote seems a lot more likely to happen, and it's not like he's given me any reason
not
to vote him.

Hmm.

Vote:EmpTyger
for now. Am willing to switch back to Lowell if needed to avoid a deadline no lynch.

We need a real majority to lynch, right?

All right...I wish I knew what the vote count was. If iamusername is right, though, then I guess I should

unvote
vote:Lowell

Which might (?) be the hammer, rather then have a no lynch.

After the majority of a relatively slow moving day passes, the assemblage becomes very active as the last rays of sunlight fade from the sky. With so much blame flying around, it is hard to keep track of what exactly is going on. Even without the failure of an extremely apologetic mod, the day is a chaotic one. However, a consensus is eventually reached, and it is decided that Lowell must hang. As the crowd closes in on him, he begins to pull his arm out of his pocket. It is only now that anyone realizes he'd been hiding it. Before anyone can see what is happening, a gun-arm is bleeding on the ground, and Lowell is dead. It looks to be the end of
Dyne
, the twisted self-loathing madman who fathered Marlene.

Lowell, Dyne the Serial Killer, lynched Day Three.

It is now Night Three. Night will end in approximately 72 hours.

The following day was a depressing one. Though there were only three victims, the first of them was a very grievous one for the town. The first body to be found was that of TonyMontana.
Cloud Strife
had been run through. The second body belonged to Riceballtail. He had been shot through. Luckily,
Riceballtail
turned out to be Scarlet of Shinra Corporation. The final body was that of Ghostwriter. He was
Wedge
, of AVALANCHE.

TonyMontana,
Cloud Strife the SK COP and 1-shot Day Vig
, run through Night Three.
Riceballtail,
Scarlet the Shinra Goon
, shot Night Three.
Ghostwriter,
Wedge the Vanilla Townie
, shot Night Three.

It is now
Day Four
. With
13
alive, it will take
7
to lynch. Deadline is
Thursday the 25th of December at 10 PM EST.

Cloud... Highwind?

Been working on rereading everyone in isolation overnight, and I should have some substantial postage for you soon.

And yeah, let's hear some night results from Zakeri and CarnCarn if they've got them.

I'm guessing that's just an error [the Cloud Highwind thing].

I'm quite suspiscious Emp's early vote on MBL. MBL performed excellently yesterday and I'm not sure we want to think about lynching him.

Wow, I could see the TM kill coming a mile away. At least he gave us some results to work with.

I have role info that says wolframnhart is not the SK Sephiroth (I roleblocked him). I'm assuming Sephiroth is doing the kills with the sword, which seems like a decent assumption. I guess he could be using a proxy, though, which might invalidate any of this. Game fans, does a proxy make any sense for Sephiroth?

By the same logic, wolframnhart did not do any of the other kills, either, but that doesn't necessarily say anything more about his alignment.

MrBuddyLee wrote:I'm assuming Tony screwed up and assumed he was chasing Sephiroth when actually he was chasing Dyne?
I'm not sure about that. Cloud and Sephiroth are basically archenemies in the game, I think, so he might have been looking for Sephiroth after all. It makes more sense that way, because he specifically said he was looking for Sephiroth, not that he was just looking for an SK.
In my mind, this just confirms that Sephiroth is another SK:
TonyMontana wrote:My sole goal is to find my nemesis,
Sephiroth
, and I'm searching for him one person at a time.
...
Btw, the two people I now know are not Sephiroth, are still alive. If I can't find him, I hope I can keep the
not-SK list
growing.
Italics added. He specifically says he is looking for Sephiroth, BY NAME. I think we can safely say he was named in his role PM.
The fact that he searches for Sephiroth by investigating for SK suggests Sephiroth is also an SK.
Well TM (since I guess you're out there, reading), I think I've added to the not-SK list.
